I don't know. Seems very mechanical in it's movement especially when the bearing hops up off of it at the point of flexion and also the little hop at the end when he removes the weight.

It is pretty obvious this is a fake.  Just think about what you are seeing for a minute.  When the arm comes down so the end with the weight and the added weight of the ball hit the stop why does the solid part of the arm keep going when there is a weight that is clearly heavier than the arm hanging on the other end?  In the real world the solid part of the arm would stop moving as soon as the flexible part hit the stop.
