Title: Boosting coil generated current question
Post by: magnetman12003 on April 21, 2016, 05:05:22 PM
I am using a coil made with awg 24 gauge wire.  It has 740 turns of cross connect wire on it and produces 400  volts when it's associated circuit is operating.  The current rating is very small however.
Without doing anything else to the circuit should the (same wire) turns be say 1000 turns or less than 740 turns to give more current??   I am not worried that the voltage will go down at this point.
