Title: Michael Emmes 3 kW earth battery
Post by: antimony on April 09, 2017, 08:26:58 AM
Hi, i am reading about Michael Emmes patent in Kellys book on page 52, charter 6 where he talks about geting serious power and high amperage out of his earth batteries, and i just wanted to ask if some one could confirm that this could be correct?

I have experimented with earth batteries but i have never tried to make a earth battery this larger, so i cant confirm this.
Driving a joule thief, or a pulse motor from a earth battery can be done, but I would like to achieve the same power levels as Emme is doing.

If you use enough copper or silver, and say stainless steel, then any amount of current can be had.
Series connect several of these earth cells, and you can also get a usable voltage.

!BUT!,it would be much cheaper, and longer lasting,to spend your money on a 3kw -stand alone, solar system.

Ok, i see. I tried to make a few cells a few years back, but then i didnt have the knowledge or equipment (dmm) to measure the current.

I havent made enough research so i should try using AG and Fe and other metals to check and see for myself.

What i am interested in is if the power is derived from the earth or galvac action.
And if the power could be increased using chemicals

Emme has found (https://www.google.com/patents/US495582) that if a series of galvanic couples were inserted in a body of ground so that a straight line will pass transversely through the several couples and the space between the several couples was made large comparatively to the distance between two couples, then the couples may be joined for series in the same manner as if they were contained in independent vessels. Otherwise his patent is just about classical galvanic soil batteries with all their drawbacks, not to say about pollution of soil with heavy metals - so it has nothing to do with overunity.

It is a galvanic action, and will suffer the same bimetallic corrosion.
The earth is simply the Elite between the two dissimilar metals, and so,the wetter the soil, the better the galvanic action, the higher the current, and the faster the corrosion.
