Title: Induction Coil with mechanical interrupter
Post by: antimony on August 23, 2017, 04:15:43 AM
Hi, I have been trying to make a Induction Coil with a mechanical interrupter.
I am working on this on and off, but I am thinking about it every day, how i can Solve this problem.
Becouse I dont have the building skulle i cant seem to get the interrupter to buzz.

Do anyone have any experience with these, and could maybe point me in the direction of where i need to go in order to make it work?

I have also tried to made the interrupter out of a 12 volt car relay, but to no avail.
But I dont see why this wouldnt work.

I have made a ignition coil driver with a relay, and it works fine, but mu homemade coil doesnt.

Thanks in advance .

Is the resistance high in the coil? Are you using 12v to power the relay+coil? Your voltage may be too low to close the relay.

Yeah, you are right. I am going to check that out.
I am using 12 volt to drive the relay.
I have made a ignition coil relay driver that works fine, but when I wire a second relay in the same way.

Thanks mate.
