Title: Earth's mass - Earth's gravitational field's mass
Post by: Floor on March 17, 2018, 01:38:47 PM
Perhaps an unanswerable query.

If all forms of energy have mass, resist aceleration by a force and are attracted by a gravitational force ....
do all forms of energy also exert a gravitational force ?

Does a gravitational field have mass ?
Does a gravitational field exert its own gravitational force ?

Massless energy does not gravitate.
Take for instance a photon

However, the EM field Does gravitate
The electrons interacting within the field have mass
therefore, the em-field itself has its own gravitational factor

Some forms of energy involve mass, others do not
gravity is a factor of mass

No mass = no gravity

Thank you SmOky2

I just  have to study more.

Light has energy, hence it IS affected (pulled we could even say) by gravity, via the relation
E = mc^2

Hence the phenomenon of gravitational lensing (google it).  However, photons do not have "rest mass".

I don´t have much time, so i just wanted to quick leave this link if someone is interested.

Gravity 'affects' photons, but photons do not have their own gravity

Hence, two photons do not gravitate to one another

Also, when a photon IS affected, it is a one-sided event
The photon does not "pull" back on the gravity source.

Most other gravitational interactions involve forces towards both objects
being considered

Then we might consider photons as not following Neuton's laws in all ways (action reaction)
unless perhaps they are at rest (and hence have mass) ?

@Smoky2  and Dr Jones

Also this seem to imply that energy transformation (absorbtion of the photon)
might in some ways substitue for reaction ?

So Floor how are you going to tune in to the suns electro magnetic radiation and
convert it into usable electric energy with out using loss making western available junk ?  ;D
All the clever stuff now comes from China ! All you get from America is death and distraction and toxic food i'm very sad to say.

PS I dont know if you have noticed with a Tesla coil it likes to self lock to base 8 hz Schumann resonance.
ie it will divide to base 8 with no remainder.

there is no photon.

what is photon made of? how electrons emit photons? what is the mechanism?

between any two electrons there exists a force f=Ke x ee/rr, that force is the carrier of light/photon.

all atoms/electrons are constantly vibrating due to the emf they carry, light only exists within matter. no light/em wave in vacuum space.

all energy are emf carried by matter/mass.
