8 magnets evenly spaced on 11" wheel, 7 bifilar coils placed in front of the magnets, 1 iron core electromagnet. 7 coils collect small voltage to capacitor, at a triggered point causes the capacitor to discharge its juice to the well positioned electromagnet (pushing or pulling) the wheel around for more revolutions.
by using bifilar air core coils, there's little to no BEMF to help the wheel spin freely. I'm thinking of adding the use of a weighted flywheel will help with continued revolution.
right or wrong, i would like to test this. I'm having trouble with the triggering of discharging the cap to the electromagnet. using an SCR thyristor 30v/.7v should work, but how to wire it correctly (I'm no good with circuits, but love to learn)
i have made one in the past, years ago. i had constant revolutions for 24+ hrs, the second day it slowed very little, and day 3 i check on it and it had completely stopped. i never went in to see if i did something wrong, i lost interest until recently when i came across some old doodles. i really want to figure out what i did wrong, because 48 hrs of run time and no battery?! has to be something to this.
i don't need to hear that it wont work, or its a bad design, etc... i want to test my theory, i need help with a circuit.
ANY help would be great!
wow, could the robot checker letters be any harder to read?? a bit over the top, no?

Hi, if you check the other videos of the above project it may help with your circuit goals. I look forward toward your test results.
Hi John,
I'm not skilled in circuits either,I use mechanical firing.
I have 12 magnets and room for twelve coils.
Would be interested in seeing a circuit that required very little input to operate.
good luck

Here's a link of the same type motor i am trying to make. It is very very similar to my design. however i do not have access to ceramic bearings, so I'm using what i have. and on my design, the magnets aren't facing out, they are instead flat, nsnsnsn so if one side wont be enought i can utilize more coils on the opposite side to collect twice as much. progress on my test unit has been slow, i do apologize. anyways heres the link (its in Russian so you might have to use google translate) it is a pretty good site with alot of information.

I have Downloaded all these videos and comments, exept for the last 7 videos.
Mr Rakarsky also has 2 books.
If only this whole site was as smart as you to realise this might be a good build.
They waste their time with other trash. This site only has trolls and hillbillys with big egos remaining, it used to be habitated by smarter people.
