Title: is this OU internal combustion engine?
Post by: tonygiang on March 29, 2019, 09:15:12 AM
Hi all !
I found the following video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdEBG1gDtxw
This is a new innovation internal combustion engine of Shaul Yaakob (Israel)
That wanted ask : is this OU  internal combustion engine?
Everyone explained help me, please thank you!

but not eta> 1
Average conversion efficiency in the 45-55% range.
Highest known claimed engine efficiency : http://www.gun-engine.pl/en/index.html (http://www.gun-engine.pl/en/index.html)

This electric generator efficiency claim

( not only wind as drive;  their description last sentence and application : ..... steam engine...
and a RPM appropriate combustion engine with average 50% efficiency and you will get : eta = 1 or 100% eff.

In Europe this generator technology : "open= free source"

Instead combustion engine :
http://www.freepatentsonline.com/y2008/0061559.html and you have your " overunity" 24/365 circuit ( Mr. Hirshberg described the device application  also as car drive )

But I think also this invention is now world-wide mostly " open= free source ".

Hi  lancaIV!
I think under 40% its efficiency only:

          40% efficiency ?  ??? :'(         1975 Technical Standart(e) : claimed 2,25 Lt. fuel consume/100 Km
                                                                         consume standart(e) : 9 Lt./ 100 Km

Hi lancaIV!
But I wanted mention to internal combustion engines only!

IF ONE EXTRACT MOST OF THE HEAT FROM THAT MOTOR AND STEAM IT THROUGH A TURBINE
GENERATOR, THEN MAYBE 80 PERCENT.

Hi lancaIV!
But I wanted mention to internal combustion engines only!

First statement : 1975 the combustion engine efficient max. were for gasoline engines +/- 30 % and for gasoil engines 35% max. :installed in cars you came down from this max. to real
https://worldwide.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/description?CC=US&NR=4318449A&KC=A&FT=D&ND=3&date=19820309&DB=EPODOC&locale=en_EP# (https://worldwide.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/description?CC=US&NR=4318449A&KC=A&FT=D&ND=3&date=19820309&DB=EPODOC&locale=en_EP#)

                                                                        "...... 2-5% .... "

                                                                 power-to-wheel ratio

Compare the 40% efficiency with fuel cell peak/average efficiency and you get similar values  !
http://www.proepowersystems.com/PROEHOME.HTM (http://www.proepowersystems.com/PROEHOME.HTM)

To get an " overunity " combustion engine you not only would need a waste heat recuperator but would also to close the actually open combustion cycle = exhaust and use water as fuel  for hydrolysis to hydrogen and reformate with oxygen to water !
Also with heat recuperation you actually "only" get +/- 55% efficiency max.,

improvement trial in laboratory work :

https://www.wwf.org.au/news/blogs/zero-emissions-engine-is-a-perfect-10 (https://www.wwf.org.au/news/blogs/zero-emissions-engine-is-a-perfect-10)

And when this combustion engine makes part from a moving  vehicle the waste kinetic power recuperation for example by flywheel ! The total vehicle body makes part from the ex-/ in-ternal combustion cycle !

So began the "automobile"-story in the 17' century : a 4-wheeled vapor machine constructed by an Jesuit from the Netherlands.

From un-manned automobile beginnings to - telemetrical controled- unmanned moving vehicle future  !
