A man discovered a new way to get electricity from a crystal by putting it under pressure. I saw this in an article/video once ~5-10 years ago. It talked about how his lab was shut down as soon as he announced the discovery. After long desperate searches I come to you for help finding him. Sadly what I mentioned and the fact that he was a white middle aged thin man (like most scientists. i know 😣) I think he was located in US. Whatever he discovered must have been important! Lets find him! Sorry for not being able to find him myself and bring his work up in this post.
