Title: Galileo's stopped pendulum "energized" ?...
Post by: iacob alex on January 22, 2020, 08:01:29 PM
.....if you take a look at a classic pendulum's experiment :

.....and replace the "green" weight /bob with an elastic mass (let's say a spring...).
This particular test is related to a simple question:if within one swing , the height of the stopped pendulum with an "elastic bob " is almost the same...or not?!

.....but add a spring , so to "introduce" a new test : stopped mass spring pendulum ? !

Why do you keep posting a link to a video that is not available?

.....again , at : https://youtube.com/watch?v=mwx0bTi_I-s&feature=share
we have the Galileo stopped pendulum Lab demonstration.

The next proposal îs : stopped spring mass ( elastic...) pendulum test...
