Title: Functional Toroid coil

The normal toroid coil has a core that is attracted to magnets.  This attraction is something I do not want for some of my generator designs.  So I want to know if it is possible to build a functional toroid coil where two parallel coils, one wound to the right and one would to the left, would they become a functional toroid coil moving through a magnetic field?  If it is, would this configuration have a reduced resistance moving through a magnetic field than conventional generators?  Can this arrangement be used to build a more efficient generator?

I need to apologize because This circuit can not work.
The big mistake in my logic is that I used the right hand rule for both coils in the drawing.
There is a Left hand rule as well as the right hand rule.  I need to apply the correct hand rule for each coil.
The two coils will both produce opposing flux in the magnetic field.
The only way a functional toroid coil would work is to have the two coils stationary
You would then need a magnetic field moving in one direction over one coil
and a magnetic field moving in the opposite direction over the other coil.
Even if you did this there would be the question of how efficient the power generation would be compared
to other generators that people have been working on.

How many light bulbs did Edison build before he got a working model.
But Please!  please!  when you see me make such a big blunder
correct me with the logical reasoning in detail of why it can not work.
I am willing hopefully learn from my mistakes.

  I visualize two coils wound reverse to each other and  a opposite pole magnet on each side going by. That would under load as a generator create a reverse field that would cancel each other. At that point, no output would be possible.

   I do not know what I was thinking,  I created a very bad design.
I wanted to admit it so that no one builds one and hate me for posting it.
If someone can delete this whole subject of "Functional Toroid Coil", that would be great.

It is just that idea sparked a memory of a mate here with a motor on his bicycle which did work as a motor but when in gen mode, it canceled the output so the magnets could pass freely. The windings had to be exactly matched for it to happen. Winding two coils perfectly the same by hand is a chore at best too. Only way tho for it to work.
  With that, the statement by Steven Mark comes to mind. It's all in how the coils interact. Only a few words but with profound meaning.
