Title: Pendular lever test…
Post by: iacob alex on June 30, 2021, 04:56:30 PM
.....is a simple proposal for a recreative /creative  "game" with gravity and inertia .
A bar/rod ...playing in the same time the lever(age) and pendulum  motion (possible "self" rotation...) ...let's say , as :
     https://www.gnuttibortolo.com/eng/Sliding-lever-3-4-.html
....with the "assistance" of two soft springs...let's say ,as:
     https://www.eurorc.com/product/9253/xray-progressive-springs (https://www.eurorc.com/product/9253/xray-progressive-springs)—-super-soft-2
The lever/bar can rotate ( fixed horizontal pivot ) and slide in the same time...playing as a rotating/tumbling variable / spring pendulum ?!

.....is a simple proposal for a recreative /creative  "game" with gravity and inertia : a lever mass with a sliding horizontal pivot, playing his center of mass as a variable/oscillatory pendulum ...or a LEVER  PLAYING as a PENDULUM...a possible "self" rotating MASS/lever on the spot.

Why can't I self-running the Milkovich double pendulum?

    Hi Kolbacict !
   We can play a game with "two sticks" ( lever+pendulum) or with a "single stick " (lever-pendulum ) .
With a single bar/ rod ( spring assisted...) acting in the same as a lever,spring- pendulum, inclined plane we have a minimal design/arrangement easy to test.
Your query about a possible "self" running of a (lever+pendulum) /Milkovic's double oscillatory pendulum , can be related  with a test , replacing pendulum with a spring -pendulum , as:
    https://youtu.be/z6_NRNw88Jw (https://youtu.be/z6_NRNw88Jw)
You can test , also :
