Title: free/shareware 3d design software
Post by: agentcoyote on January 14, 2007, 08:48:53 PM
Hello,

Does anyone know of any free/shareware 3d design software I can download? I have been kicking around a few ideas. I have difficulty verbalizing them. So rather then try and explain it in my post, I would like to create a model and then show you all.

Regards,
Michael

Is sketchup any good for complex curves? And, is it compatable with z-machine printers? Both are important to me.

....if you have windows 2000 or XP and 2GHZ P4
processor. No mention of Linux. (Some Apple platforms).

Alternatively, I am thinking of Free cad which can handle
moving mechanisms:
