Evolution of a Free-running Magnetic Motor Concept From Smudge (Cyril Smith )
Snip
Smudge quote
"It is not clear when the equivalent current concept for magnets was first evolved, they are certainly discussed in The Feynman Lectures on Physics and that is over 50 years ago. It is a sobering thought that the EM laws applying to moving conductors that ensure our classical electric motors obey CoE also apply to those imaginary currents on moving magnets, hence the route to obtaining free energy from moving magnets has been hidden in plain sight since then.
Those very laws that enforce CoE not only tell us that magnet motors are possible but also tell us where the energy comes from."

Smudge provides a new addition (PDF ) below with a suggestion for a simple experiment !

Back to magnetic motors. Here is another paper suggesting a possible motor. Anyone up to building something? This uses stator disc magnets all facing inwards but uses finger-like rotor magnets set as spokes. These are magnetized across their thin dimension. A system using just one disc and one spoke could be measured to see whether the torque over a full revolution averages to zero, or whether there is a small net torque in one direction.

👍 thanks corrected now
Hi Ramset
The PDF contains zero bites ..
Good to hear from you !

Hi Floor,
This has been a forum problem for years now, Stefan knows about it, maybe forgot about it. Not every web browser conflicts with this forum problem though, Firefox what I use also does.
The pdf file is ok, it has indeed a size of 247.68 kB. Just download it first to a known folder into your computer, the forum problem deprives the original filename and substiutes it with some random characters without any file extension.
Then just rename the downloaded file to Further Evolution of a Free.pdf as it was originally and you can then open it.
