Title: Mike Clarke RPG Motor - Any Builders Out there?
Post by: Energy Hack on October 12, 2022, 04:58:18 PM
Hi All,

I have been replicating the RPG motor/generator as demonstrated by Mike Clarke and Paul Babcock of emedia press.

This is a higher than usual DC pulse motor/generator.  60V DC drive, spinning 2500 RPM, and mechanically outputting 100 watts continuous.  The drive and charge batteries are switched every 3 minutes and the machine runs continuously without draining the battery banks.

In my replication, I am nearly at OU - or maybe already but so close to unity it's not noteworthy.  Thus far I have run 75Ah's out of a bank of 100Ah batts and only lost 0.25 volts from each battery.  My machine outputs about 10 watts of power mechanically but much more is lost in heat and vibration. (the coils sometimes reach 130F).

I would like to collaborate and share ideas if anyone else is building. I believe there is a balance point of sufficient speed, proper inductance, and correct timing/pulse width that will allow the batteries to see 100% of the used current returned to them.

Here's a link to my Youtube where I have a few videos on the subject.
