Hi all,
Do you think this device can be OU when controlled by a little motor?
Marcel.
It looks cool but it's on a black and coverd table :-\
I've seen this a few times andf by my estamation its no more then a flywheel that uses an odd form of energy input, but sadly the fly wheel still only collects the energy the man inputs. Notice it loses speed without him touching it...
Hi!
Take a look at: www.evert.de/eft377e.htm
You can find here, the first display of Prof Evert ,regarding Felix Wuerth and his Swing-System (sept/2000).
What you can see on Youtube is a more precise assembly.
Very interesting!

I think this is a very good flywheel design. More efficient that what I have seen or used in any machine.
Hi!
If you compare the first achievement(sept/2000 at www.evert.de/eft377e.htm )with the last( video...),you can notice a difference of "quality",but intended to perform the same idea:to obtain a controllable translation vector, from the rotational inertia of an eccentric masses assembly.
The last device is buildt in an admirable german manner, but ...I have some doubts that Wurth is on the fit line of the basic design of his intended mechanism(take this as my opinion).

Could make a great inertial drive, but for now all the counter weights are synched so its nothing more than a flywheel. I think it would great fun to build, and it offers a way to have a dynamic fly wheel that can change its moment of inertia and the over all torque of the wheel. I'm sure sports cars could use this technology to improve 'stop and go' efficiency... Thats it though. I would still be quite curious to see more information on the energy input/output ratios of the device.

P.S. The youtube video is awesome!!!
