I caught wind of this from a user comment on a Foxnews UFO article. It seems nuclear fusion may be further along than I was aware of. Apparently this company plans to have a direct fusion drive that can provide both energy and much faster propulsion for space travel than any current rockets we have. They are talking 12 days to Mars instead of 7 months! Static tests are to begin in 2024 followed by an In Orbit Demonstration (IOD) of the technology in 2027.
