Title: 872-HP Electric Motor Revealed For Mystery Hypercar

872-HP Electric Motor Revealed For Mystery Hypercar | CarBuzz (https://carbuzz.com/news/872-hp-electric-motor-revealed-for-mystery-hypercar)

I thought the 800 hp 6-phase Raxial Koenigsegg Dark Matter unit at 39 kg was the most power* dense, but this news item at least predates it with higher density. Whether the 872 hp is continuous power, I doubt it, but it's at least a keen focus for them.

There is still real development in non-overunity motors, but the gains are self limiting. A 872 hp car can now only drop 29 kg from its state of the art motors. Efficiency... Heat losses can only be reduced to a theoretical zero, and there's roughly 10% of total consumption now. Ignore theoretical lowest heat rejection load and rpm, motors tend up be used more dynamically, unless it's to run a factory coveyer belt where power density is utterly irrelevant.

I'm a fan of power density though, and even a free energy device will need decent power density, or it will be useless for most application, or too expensive. If you need 10 kg of high quality raw materials and processing for 1 Watt of eternal power...it's a waste of resources.

For a true self-charging electric car, the OU device would probably be replacing the drive battery (average 500 kg) and on-board charger. The inverter and motors, you would still need. Perhaps not the inverter if your OU device is D/C or your motors A/C.
So a 500 kg, 100 kW peak OU device would be about the bottom of acceptable for mobility, but it would need to be decently flat or compact. If throttle response on the OU device is slow, you need an extra battery or capacitor back to take up the slack.

Humanity knows only non-overunity motors.
That what for todays physics is a nonsense reminds nonsense.
Energy for free or Free Energy=FE  is always at the the expense of nature .
And if not it is called theft.

Same goes for wind and hydro energy, then. That energy was meant for a natural purpose. By slowing down winds, we change the weather and how flora and faune live their lives. By slowing down waves and tides, we are affecting ecosystems. A solar panel steals sunlight from a tree that could otherwise have grown there.
Most environmentalism I encounter, comes across as a quilt trip mislabeled as love. Doesn't matter whether it's directed at self or others, low vibrations will sow low outcomes, for all.

nothing is meant.  Human Animal  provided means benefiting him.
No other means were proven to exist or existed ever.

Nope.
We are not slowing winds, waves and tides at all.( local disturbance  doesn't matter.)
Expansion of  human animal affects nature e.g. water, air, vegetation, and other animals life, damaging it like never before .
Simple solution:
- stop expanding.
- become vegetarian.
- make hunting  illegal
- create  haven for animals other than you yourself.

as according to  modern science You are  only an animal and nothing more than that,
:)

Do I understand this correctly? According to you, a wind turbine does not slow down the wind and thus doesn't change the environment we and animals and plants live in? Newton might want to have a word with you about that as you've violated one of more of his laws... And you've just declared wind energy overunity, hurray!

What's more likely from my perspective, is that the effect of a "renewable" energy (winds will return) is just shoveled deep underground, just not something that's allowed for discussion. We can't SEE the wind slowing down behind the turbine, we don't see wind at all, so who cares?

Let's talk about power density, need less metal to do the same job. That's progress.

Power density?

I've spoken to Zürich students of earlier iterations of this project when I was at the Geneva Autosalon. At cycling distance from my home a uni has been doing the same.
For a quick dash, all you need is torque an traction. Traction gets a lot better when you create a vacuum with the ground.

Indeed. Didn't Einstein and others find unlimited energy behind every atom in the universe, or something to that effect?

Since it's becoming ever more apparent that we are in a simulation rather than a fixed singular reality, much like the money printing press of a central bank, the existence of an unlimited source might be a matter of us deciding to have it.

500 kW 670 hp from a 74 kg motor. Actually in production.
Ground up design.
Winding wizards are going to see something interesting here. They touch upon dead spots.
Might be the highest power density currenly in automotive drive motors.

Power is one thing, but we see many BEVs on the market the have "inexplicably" high consumption. That may well be energy lost as heat or vibration. The Lucid cars are exceedingly efficient. A 2.4 ton limousine has very similar consumption to a class leading 1.7 ton Tesla Model S with 1/2 the battery size and 1/3 the power.
