Title: Downloadable Pic to help UNDERSTAND!
Post by: Bruce_TPU on April 23, 2007, 09:44:09 PM
You don't like my theory fine.  I thought this was a forum of Ideas, but I guess not, unless they conform to "the group" idea.

Thank You but i dion't have word pad we use PDF formats here so as everyone can download them.... Acrobat reader PDF format

its not even a document, it's better you use a gif / png / jpeg for this kind of image!

please please....not MS-Word Docs!

Use the paint program and post a gif for something!

Thanks!

Anyone able to translate this to a schematic. I am having issues undrstanding the drawing. He refers to spark gaps.

Did I miss some thing did anyone actually build this and see it working or is this a theory that needs to be tested.

Yes it looks very promising. looks like you were in a hurry , when you remake the drawing use bold line grids and keep everything in black and white so it is printer friendly . I'm sure you have thought about the SS control devise. THANK YOU FOR TAKEING THE TIME TO THINK THIS OUT. Mike

THIS IS NOT a Schematic.  The coils are important, but the controller is the key.  We must walk before we run.  Make 1 coil about 5" in diameter of stranded wire.  Take a FEW strands at each end, pulse HIGH FREQ into it, offset, first in one direction and then the other.  THE Spark Gap is also the location of the freq. inputs. HAVE a BIGGER STRANDED wire in between the two, and wrapped TIGHTLY around the 5" coil.  Place a PERM. Magnet Just ABOVE the spark gap, facing N_S.  (not touching, I don't think)  Take a voltage measurement, and then we can go from there.

Like Steve said once you UNDERSTAND, the rest is wiring.  Someone better than I will need to come up with the SCHEMATIC of the controller and we can all work on the wiring of the completed coil.  But this will work!!!  And is a place to begin in the right direction!!

I have been the only one that incorporated real stun guns in my tpu circuit. Do you mean that I was that damn close? And did you know that there is an adjustable pc board based micro spark gap inside the stungun casing itself? This cuts down on the number of diode-cap stages for build up. oohweee! Radiant energy on the hip! I am a stungun slinger.

Fire 'em if ya got 'em.

p.s. But safety first! No dogs, kids or birds! Be safe! Ok, call the significant other over for the test.

Ok lets start with a few questions.

I am drawing this thing out as best I can but can't seem to grasp the concept of the spark gaps.

So I have this single piece of wire open ended wrapped around the form (5" ring). Are the open ends on my single wire the spark gaps? The wire is running over the top of the ring right? Not wrapped around it.

I don't know it makes no sense its problably my english skills lacking.

Steve clues us to use either a MOSFET or Vacuum tubes with fast send off, EXTREAMLY fast transit times!

Exactly! And how fast do you think a stungun pulse is?

Run a stungun as your pulse driver...
Remember, I crashed my lab with a 15 inch diam ring?
I also connected a 2nd stungun to trigger the first stungun in a loop.
I blew shit up. Let me clarify S)omething H)appens I)n T)ime.

personally the only good thing I have been able to use a stun gun for is my 6" potato gun, 1.5" arch ignites ethanol really well. But in some seriousness, I am still not understanding a few things:
1. how is any frequency on any wire without extenal input to the system.
2. I don't see a description of the "controller" in any of the talk about three rings and spark gaps.

Shrug I just don't get it.

Ok I blew up the picture posted here and have the idea now. Will be working on this now since I already have equipment for the freq. inputs.

Would you care to mention how you came up with this?? I know you said clue and all that but you must have had a little some thing extra. Maybe not. Anyway nice work, if it works.

The collector coils (There are THREE of them) have two ends.  The coil is run around the ring, but the ends are at the top of the ring for logistic purposes to place the magnet over them.  A few strands on both ends are the inputs for the frequency being sent in opposite directions.  A LARGER STRANDED wire is placed between, but not touching the ends of the collector and wrapped tightly around JUST ONE of the collector coils.  This is the first control wire.

One of two things will happen.  The electrons will jump onto the larger stranded wire between the collector wires or will jump straight into the coiled wire wrapped around the collector.  Experiment!!

A question: Is your spark gap and my spark gap, one in the same? A little late, I guess.

Hello all,

@Bruce

The picture is WRONG!!

No questions, please.
