Title: New here, My pendulum idea..
Post by: Azura on May 18, 2007, 07:25:37 AM
I have been looking at free energy devices for the past few days now, and to be honest, i`m kind of glued to the idea that it might just be possible to build something that runs on forever  8)

I have a half baked idea of using a pendulum with a magnet below it forcing the pendulum out into the sticky spot, If I can somehow store enougth energy form the moment of initial movement to the sticky point, to use this stored energy to either create a shield or drive a plunger to move the pendulum away from its sticky point..

Here is a quick picture showing the basic idea, It looks like it could work but I doubt if it would be that easy. I would like your input and suggestions on this please.

If all components are ideal, I cannot see this as more than a regular pendulum without a magnet, coil, and capacitor. If the intent is to avoid a sticky spot, you can simply remove the magnet. The energy you store in the capacitor must be greater than the energy you charge it with - which is impossible. If the coil is coiled around an iron ball, the energy from the capacitor must first of all be strong enough to cancel the force between the iron itself and the magnet. In addition, you must have excess energy to load into the coil so it will be pushed away from the magnet.

So I think this will not work.
