The General Theory behind the various Over Unity Inventions.
The greatest roadblock to Over Unity Inventions is the question ? where does the energy come from? The First Law of Thermodynamics or the Law of Conservation of Energy states that Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only change from one form to another. This argument has been used by Patent Offices to reject hundreds of Over Unity Inventions.
This roadblock is now removed with scenario of ?boat in calm water and good sunshine?. If a scientist does not know how to use sunlight, he might ignore it and use the Law of Conservation of Energy on what he believed to be a closed system and advocate the use of muscle energy ? rowing. But if he knows how to use solar panels, he can use such energy without violating the Law of Conservation of Energy.
We are actually immersed in gravitational energy. If we know how to use it, we would not violate the Law of Conservation of Energy. The Lee-Tseung patent states that we can Lead Out such energy via oscillation, vibration or rotation with Pulse Force at the suitable time (at resonance).
The same theory can be extended to electron motion energy. Electron motion energy covers magnetic, electric and electromagnetic. It is present so long as there are electrons rotating around nuclei. The field can be many times the gravitational field. The field can be attraction or repulsion. It can also be turned on and off. Many Over Unity Inventors use this particular energy without realizing it.

Once we understand that the Bedini Motor does not violate the Law of Conservation of Energy, we can go to the next step.
The Lee-Tseung Patent states that Pulse applied to a rotating system can Lead Out Electron Motion Energy. The Bedini Motor is essentially a rotating system of magnets under Pulses. Thus Electron Motion Energy is Lead Out. Bedini used the Pulsing Coil to do the feedback. He used the term back EMF. He could have used the rotating central shaft or a separate feedback coil to extract the energy. However such mechanisms have their own difficulties and inefficiencies.
Thus there is no mystery in the Bedini Motor. However, it is unlikely to beat the 225 HP Pulse Motor as shown on youtube.

The factors affecting the Energy Lead Out mechanism are:
1. Rotational Speed of the wheel
2. Diameter of the wheel
3. Number of Pulses per revolution
4. Strength of the Pulse
5. Strength of the Magnets or the Magnetic Field
6. The orientation of the Magnets
7. The energy extraction mechanism
8. The energy feedback mechanism
9. The matching of the above
10. Other factors
The Bedini Motor may not be using the optimal Pulse strength to move the wheel. Too much current may have been used in the Pulsing Coils. The orientation is unlikely to be the best.
However, the fact that it can actually recharge batteries is worthy of praise. With the Lee-Tseung theory as guideline, the Bedini Motor Developers can improve their devices. We expect to see improvements. It would be a challenge to beat the 225 HP Pulse Motor in US or the Liang/Chao Hall Effect IC Cars in China.

The Bedini Motor is what we consider as third Generation Cosmic Energy Machines.
In the third Generation ? Leading Out Magnetic or Electromagnetic Energy Machines, we can summarize the implementation into 5 major steps:
1. We may need some initial energy to start the motion or power the electromagnets. Bedini used batteries.
2. We need a Pulse Force applied at resonance. The solenoid coil is a very good example. It can switch the magnetic poles to drive a set of permanent magnets. Bedini used such a mechanism.
3. We could use a rotating central shaft technique to extract energy or we can rely on the electromagnetic flux changes to extract electricity directly. Bedini used the recharging of the batteries (or what he called the back EMF) mechanism.
4.The energy feedback mechanism can be via mechanical motion or via electrical circuits. Bedini used electrical circuits.
5.The Control mechanism to adjust output when the external load fluctuates. If the output is not reduced when the external load is reduced or dropped to zero, the machine will overheat. Some machines such as the Wang Shum Ho wheel uses Magnetic Shielding Material to alter the magnetic field. We can also sense the output load and reduce the feedback to input (thus output) accordingly. Bedini used capacitors or the depleted batteries to store the extra energy. Some unused energy is dissipated as heat or electromagnetic radiation.

Please note that we are not trying to discredit John Bedini and his supporters. They have done a great job and definitely deserve a place in scientific history.
We merely want to point out that
(1) The conventional use of the Law of Conservation of Energy does not apply when the immersed electron motion energy is used as in the Bedini Motors.
(2) So long as there are electrons moving around nuclei, there will be electron motion energy exchanges between any object and its surroundings. The surrounding is effectively the entire universe.
(3) We do not claim to understand this electron motion energy fully yet. However, we are convinced that such energy does not equal to the energy used to magnetize the electromagnets or the permanent magnets.
We expect there will be similarities when we compare the Bedini Motor with others such as the Joseph Newman Machine, the Minato Wheel,the Pulse Motor etc.
The machines that Bedini has released are pretty much just instructional. There is no major conversion of radiant energy into raw power.
As you are aware, the energy being tapped has much different properties than normal electron current. It is difficult to measure, has a very high impedance and doesn?t follow the laws of electrical energy that we all are familiar with.
Bedini wants people to build his machines and learn all about this energy without hurting themselves. Baby steps are required to learn how to walk. These machines are the baby steps.
I have no doubt that Bedini could build you a generator that would light a city if he wanted to. It is not a matter of research or engineering either, but rather one of greed and corruption. Standard Oil wants to sell all the oil it controls and consequently forbids any type of ?free? energy in this country. If we could ever loosen the stranglehold the banks and oil companies have on this country, the ?energy crisis? would end immediately.
China will be the first to develop this energy if you don?t allow yourselves to be bought off or intimated. Don?t underestimate the oil thugs though. They have been suppressing these types of machines for almost 100 years now and they are very good at it.

The oil cartels and bankers conveniently use "national security" as an excuse to suppress this and other types of alternative energy for their own financial gain. They regularly use the patent office as the enforcement agent for this.
The battle is being fought by guys like you and I who are trying to spread the word about this technology. Our best weapon is the internet and large numbers of people.

Thank you for sharing your insight. The technology could be suppressed because many Inventors habor self interests such as wealth, fame, ego etc. They fell prey to the temptations.
I have seen and am seeing this happening right in front of my eyes. Our group is under such temptations. We were victims to the CIA or the like just a few months ago. We never learned the lesson. Or should I say - the temptation was too great.

You obviously don?t know me. My name is Hugo Pinto. I could introduce myself as a small Portuguese IT entrepreneur, which I am, but I reach for you mostly as a technologically-oriented curious and enthusiast. And it is obviously about you Wang / Lead-out presentations that I do so.
I downloaded your presentations at the energyfromair site. Needless to say, my enthusiasm about them could only be matched by my own, cautious, skepticism. As a engineering-educated person, I have to test things for myself. Should you main ?Lead Out? assumptions be right, it should be surprisingly simple to achieve a prototypal mechanical engine. Therefore, this main assumption must be testable (and I believe it easily is), and from there on, a commercial applicability study carried out. I was particularly curious about the presentation and photographs of the Wang generator. Do you have any quality videos of the device working? Any extra information you can disclose?
Now, my questions to you are the obvious ones: what are your main motivations in pursuing and disclosing this information? Have you patented some device based on it (as you cannot patent a physical principle per se)? Do you plan to? My interest in this is obviously due to my interest in replicating and applying your discoveries in further research. I profoundly respect Intellectual Property (as I work and created an IPR company myself), but am also obviously interested in exploring this knowledge in such a way that more that commercial, true social goals can be obtained worldwide.
Should you intentions be honest and good (that is: not a scam?), I wholeheartly thank you for your presentations disclosure and eagerly wait any comments you may have on my questions.

The next step is the more detailed analysis.
1. We expect the reaction from the academic community to be caution. However, there is no way they can dispute the ?boat in calm water and good sunshine? scenario. They may not openly support it but they cannot be seen to oppose it. They will ask for working prototypes for validation. We shall ask them for written statements on the theory first.
2.The Hong Kong Inventor Association has been supportive since our initial announcement in December 2004. Many members have contributed time and energy in building prototypes.
3.Many Legislative Council Members in Hong Kong have openly said that Hong Kong must become an innovative society. Hong Kong can lead China and even the world. If a tiny place like Hong Kong can beat Japan, Russia, Europe and USA, the citizens of Hong Kong will be extremely proud. The amount of money that could be generated would exceed almost all expectations.
4. The new chief executive of Hong Kong, Mr. Donald Tsang, was educated in the same secondary school as Lawrence Tseung ( Wah Yan College). That secondary school is well- known for its academic excellence. The alumni will throw in its support. The introduction of model farms, model villages and model cities will provide excellent opportunities for the Hong Kong civil servants to shine.
5. With the Flying Saucer, the Hong Kong citizens can travel anywhere including outer space. They may not want it for military purposes. However, this technology is so intriguing that it will motivate almost every Hong Kong citizen. Forever joked that she can fly to the moon if she quarrels with her mum.

9. Many international Over Unity developers have working prototypes but were not accepted by their local patent offices. Some of them are even rejected by their friends and their families. 1. Email the academic community in Hong Kong today. They will ask for working prototypes for validation. Tsing Hua University in Beijing is unusual. It is a chosen University to evaluate the many Perpetual Motion Machine claims. It has been working on an electricity power magnifier for over 11 years. That magnifier could magnify input power 30 times. (Chas Campbell of Australia claimed that he could magnify input power 10 times.) The Lee-Tseung theory explains the workings as extraction of gravitational energy via pulsing wheel in three stages. The Universities in Hong Kong do not have such background. They can only discuss the ?boat in calm water and good sunshine? scenario. The Professors will be reluctant to risk their reputation on such evidence alone.
2. Email the Innovation Societies today. The Innovation Societies in Hong Kong already know about the Lee-Tseung theory. The first exposure was in December 2004. It is almost two and a half years. Any Email will just be an update process with negligible impact.
3. Few Legislative Council Members in Hong Kong have the scientific background to evaluate the technology themselves. The most probable action is to consult the academics in Hong Kong. The best reaction may be ? we shall study the information. No public support at this time is likely.

5. Write a special article on the Flying Saucer and its potential impact on Hong Kong, China and the World. Many Hong Kong Citizens will take this as entertainment only. They will not try to understand the theory and the engineering aspects.
6. This is the summer vacation time for the Hong Kong Students. They will talk about it via the Internet. Some of them may even do the Four-Legged Stool experiment, the Forever Yuen Magnetic Pendulum experiment or even the Sun et al experiments. It is unlikely that they will hit on a resonance configuration that can rotate for hours. (They will definitely achieve configurations that can rotate for minutes.)
7. Educate the news media first without the prototypes. The news media is very short-fused. They are only interested in the Headlines for tomorrow. If there is no picture of a working device, they are not interested.
8. It is doubtful whether Wang will be allowed by his new Company to bring his prototype (by now, the Company?s) to Hong Kong. The new Company is likely to manage the Publicity for its own interest. We should call Wang to get the full picture before committing.
9. What can you offer the International Over Unity Developers such as Milkovic of Russia, Joseph Newman of USA, Minato of Japan and Chas Campbell of Australia etc.? Steorn gave the explanation of the failed demonstration as bearing failures: FIVE bearing failures from three units when transferred to the final Demo unit.
Can we believe such an explanation?
Wang met similar experience with his device early on. Once the axle starts to spin, the spinning can keep accelerating. (Remember his four-legged stool experiment?) The generated output energy has nowhere to go and built up as heat. That could easily crack the bearings. Thus bearing failures are possible explanations.
Wang's device has three solutions on this:
(1) He used another of his inventions - heat resistant bearings. The bearing case has slits that allow room for expansion.
(2) He used his double coupling system to limit the maximum rate of rotation.
(3) He drew energy out via the rotating central shaft.
Steorn and other Over Unity developers should not lose heart. You are making progress but you have not reached the final stage yet. (If you have, you might get the same treatment as Wang in China.)

(2) The wheel will Lead Out just enough energy to overcome friction, air resistance etc. It will rotate for hours.
(3) The wheel leads out too much energy. The excess energy damages the device - cracked bearing in the case of Steorn."
Sun: "You think that the Steorn failure is due to possibility (3). I am at possibility (1) only. I shall use angled permanent magnets to see if I can achieve (3). Burning a couple of bearings will actually boost my confidence. I know I have to tune for (2) to get the resonance condition. It will keep our team busy for a few more weeks."

If you search the China Patent Database for perputual motion machines, you can find at least 50 hits. Some of them were granted because they could show working prototypes. (Assuming that you can read and write Chinese).
The dogma of PPM violating the Law of Conservation of Energy is less strong in China than in the West. They all enjoy the scenario of 'boat in calm water and good sunshine'. They can smell a chance to lead the World in Leading Edge Technology.
We had some "violent debates" with some Chinese Persons on CoE. Their jaws almost fell out when they did the Wang four-legged stool experiment. They refused to believe the Wang videos until a top professor said that he himself assembled and disassembled the device. You should also read the Chao Car news story. Lee Cheung Kin spent a week driving one of these Cars. He said that it could not be a hoax or scam.

In the Bedini Motor, energy is immediately drained out from the Pulsing/Pickup coil. In the Pulse Motor, there can be 8 coils. Some of them can be used for pulsing and some of them can be used for pickup. If all of them were used for pulsing, the output energy can be extracted via the rotating shaft - maximum torque. I must confess that I have not studied the TPU device in any detail. As a general guideline, the Lee-Tseung theory predicts that electron motion energy can be Lead Out via Flux Changes. The Flux Change can be magnetic, electric or electromagnetic. We have a China Patent Application (Inventors are Lee, Sung and Tseung) related to no motion but with Flux Change Energy Extraction processes. The early experiments by Sung indicated a COP of around 4.
However, the prototype was not perfect in that the flux changes demagnetize the core magnet used. Thus it could not be used as conclusive proof of Over Unity.
I can see how the TPU may work as follows:
(1) A small electric voltage is produced by battery, solar cells or equivalent.
(2) This is used to drive a coil to produce a pulsing magnetic field with some type of Pulsing Circuit.
(3) This pulsing magnetic field Leads Out Electron Motion Energy. The exact mechanism is not clear to me at this moment in time. It is probably via flux changes. (If permanent magnets were not used, there will be coils to act as electromagnets.)
(4) Some of the Lead Out energy is fed back to (1) and the rest is used to do work such as lighting external bulbs.
The above is my first attempt using the Lead Out theory - overcoming the CoE roadblock. I shall read the TPU information in this Forum and post any new thoughts in the next few days/weeks.
Lee Cheung Kin went to Japan around January 2007 and spent a month working with a well funded Japanese Company on a no-motion Cosmic Energy Invention. That was also a flux change only system.
The timing of the Japanese invention or the Wang device as products are outside my responsibility. Any statement from my part is pure speculation. Lee and I can only say that these devices are theoretically possible under our published Lee-Tseung Lead Out theory. We also have the opportunity to see the prototypes in action and provide improvement suggestions.

I have modified our Cosmic Energy Machine article to include the description of the Torroidal Power Unit.
From the information so far, the KICK is essentially the Pulse Force required by the Lee-Tseung Theory. Resonance Frequency is required.

I have modified the TPU theory article to remove some typos and to include the comparison with other Cosmic Energy Machines.
The two comparisons made are:
(1) With the flux change devices
(2) With the 225 HP Pulse Motor
The updated file is attached. Edited the attached file to reflect the advantage of TPU over (1). (1) uses coils to convert the electricity for output. TPU can use the induced electricity directly.
Edited on July 19 Beijing Time to include the excellent Tao diagrams and the deliberate tuning away from the ideal frequency. That is required to prevent the ?falling bridge effect due to resonance?.
Also added the contribution of Professor Woo who went to Harvard and MIT to discuss the Lee-Tseung Lead Out theory. Professor Woo et al also works on a Pulse Machine with no physical movement. Sun et al was also mentioned in the updated file.
