Did you read up on their neogen motor? They have the magnets all repeling. I thought that was a nono has it tends to destablize the magnets. You are suposed to always attract to get the most life span from the magnets

Vorg,

That is a very good question. I have heard a few people say recently that permanent magnets can keep their magnetism for thousands of years even with their fields opposing. A good test would be to make a clamp with two magnets with opposing fields about a centimeter or less apart. Then a week later check and see if they have lost any of their power. If not, put them in for another week and check again. And so on and so on.

That looks interesting and easy enough to try out.
I have tried a number of different configurations with wheels loaded with magnets facing each other horizontal, but never thought of the offsetting shown here.

Another one for the ToDo listen when experiementing.

Regards

Sean.

Thanks Chet but I just went next door, borrowed the puter and dialed up magnetricity--sent them a mouthful ---- nicely :-) and took their phone number!

if nice doesn't help then maybe a phone call will!

Maybe they black list for publicity !!!

cheer all

Mike
