Good going! May I suggest 316 L plates and distilled water with just a tad bit of lye to make it Cary current. That will reduce sludge. Also the humans belong on the people friendly side of the firewall. The cell goes under the hood away from people. The gases also degrade over a small distance so you loose some of the combustion effect by having it that far from the engine.
Welcome, bigfatpothead;
Nice set-up... got any numbers for us?
Specifically, litres of HHO produced for power applied over time?
Thanks, Turtle
Where can I buy the PCB for Lawton's Circuitry, and the parts to solder in?
Mouser http://www.mouser.com/search/Default.aspx
has all the components, but ya gotta know what to look for- the turtle got some chip caps by mistake and had to go to Radio Shack for the right parts. Be sure to buy only parts with pictures available.
I gotta have pics cuz I don't read too well <grin>
Keith
Would it be possible to get a parts list of what's needed? I can assemble everything on my own, but not sure where to look to find the parts list for the Lawton's Circuit.
OK, Oreyeon;
Here's the bill of lading for my mouser order. There's enough parts here to build two lawton 2 chip boards, as well as some other parts not related to that project. Print it, sit down with Dave's materal sheet, edit the things y'all ain't gonna need, then go to mouser's site and git whatever. They ain't got a minimum order, so it won't be much over $25 I reckon.
The mosfet is what I picked from their list, (cuz they ain't got the BUZ 350) and it ain't burnt up yet.
Here' the list and their part #s:

If you order all that ya oughta be able to build it. But keep in mind, I ain't done it yet. There mighta been some parts I had on the shelf that I did not order; that's why ya gotta sit down with the spec sheet an figger out what you want.
[ I say the mosfet ain't burnt up yet cuz I drive it with the sig gen direct... and not much time on it]
Us turtles are slow at gettin 'round to things.

I have all the parts except the heatsink
to build the curcuit
when I bought my parts I had to order bulk of each item
I have enough that I could package em up for 30 bucks unassembled
and a close-up image of my circuit board. if any one wants the parts
email me and we can work out a paypal payment and shipping plan
thelasname@yahoo.com
I used a water filter for under the sink to mount all my parts in.
and I have a thin plastic blow out plate that will release any explosive energy that might accidently happen... I have absolutely no room under my hood, but my next car will be chosen with that in mind....
I am thinking about putting my device in the back but then I can't be sure it is working.
where it sits now I can look over and see the as bubbles and rest assured I am saving fuel.
As far as plates I am using 316L tubes like in meyers unit just shorter (my tubes are 6 inches long) I would love to add tubes and see if I can run my car just on HHO..
I am also very interested in making a radio wave HHO generator...
I am thinking that it could be done with the circuitry in a cordless 2.4 Gig phone.
maybe wrap the antenna around a small container of saltwater,,
Does this sound possible to anyone???
www.bigfatpothead.com
.
Here' how I did it.
I turned on my AM radio near 620 AM.
you can hear the Lawton circuit ticking away.
turn all of your pots (variable resistors) to the left.
in the schematic there are 2 three position switches.
the left hand switch is set to the left most position
the right hand switch is set to the center position.
slowly start turning the 10K pots in very small increments.
wait 10 seconds before changing the pots, you may see small amounts aof bubbles right away.
keep turning each 10 k pot but not past the halfway mark, if you get that far then you should turn all pots to the opposite direction and start from there, working your way back, SLOWLY.
On the radio you will hear the clicks getting faster and faster until the sound like a steady tone on the radio, a very high tone....
good luck...

Hi builders!
@bigfatpothead
When you talk about the Dave Lawton's circuit are you reffering to this file:
http://freenrg.info/Stanley_Meyer/D14.pdf (http://freenrg.info/Stanley_Meyer/D14.pdf) ?
If yes, do you use the coils of an alternator or do you only use the circuit on his own?
Best
.
@Bouzouki
Thanks for answering.
Actually, I also made the Lawton circuit a couple of months ago (with heat sink). As I was not able to get a lot of gas (I got much more gas with a mere 12 volts bat (and, BTW, of lot of amps ;))), I gave up my experiments with this 'standalone' circuit. I thought that this 'coil-less' circuit was too simple to be efficient and too good to be true... :-\
So, I was wondering if you were talking about this very circuit.
Now, I will carry on my experiments and try the Big_Fat_Pot_Head AM radio tuning :)
BTW: 620 AM? 620 meters?
Thanks again for sharing.

@Bigfatpothead
Tanks a lot for the video.
Actually, the sound of the AM radio can be a big help.
BTW: 620? 620 meters wavelength?

now all ya need is a coil / blocking diod between the cell and the lawton circuit...
let the volts take over.

I am not a good writer of software but I have been daydreaming of using COOLEDIT
and sending sounds from my computer to a stereo amplifier with Meyer tubes
hooked up instead of speakers. My sound card goes up to 96ooo hertz. What do you
think?
i was wondering if someone could help i built the lawton circuit and have not been able to tell why i have been blowing 6 amp fuses .
Hi BFPHead
Just curious as to how and why hearing the Lawton cct clicking over the radio helps you tune the setup for maximum gas output?
It would seem most obvious that increasing the frequency will at some point provide a continuous audible tone as the clicks become indistinguishable from one another.
Am I missing some crucial piece of info here? What is the goal of listening to the cct switching?
Just watched your video. Did you really set light to gas? The video ended rather abruptly there, did you blow your shed up?
Farrah Day
Hi Farrah Day,
I connected my 2 coils together with 2 peaces of metal, so that it is like a toroid, better said a square formation.
With this setup, the coils are really loud ticking, no radio is needed to hear it.
I will wrap a new coil setup, wanna use a toroid ferrit core like the one of Bob Boyce. Teslas pankake coil is also
very interesting...
take care,

Hi BFPHead
to generate tone and frequencies over your sound card iam using SBaGEn its a freeware tool ,and iam using to meditation, maybe its allso working in your tube producing hho gas who knows just a thought
Micha
No, lost me guys.
What is the point of listening to your timer cct fire unless you can actually achieve something from it??
How can this help tune your wfc?
Alantex, your clicking will be just loose wire/s on you inductor moving due to the effect of pulsing. You want that to stop or else your wires will fatigue quickly. It also wastes energy.

heya. if you get this program, http://www.audiomulch.com/download.htm (http://www.audiomulch.com/download.htm), audiomulch, youll be able to use a contraption, a sound-generator within audiomulch, which is called 10harmonics. you can pick a base frequency and generate i believe 9 or 10 harmonics of the same frequency. you can route that to the sound-out (to get sound-out), and experiment.
what i would really like to ask, nay, plead for, is, could you record your tuning session of the cell to the 620AM ( does this equal 620hz?).. you can also go much more highlevel and go towards reaktor or max/msp and create your own oscillators and pulse width modulate them and so on as you like, and get rudimentary oscilloscopes out of the process too.
please keep posting!
maybe instead of wondering 96khz soundcard enough or nawt, look into base notes and then finding a way to modulate their harmonics out. im not sure if this applies to what you are doing tho, i only look at this from an outsiders view of as a musician.
