Title: Magnet motor by xnonix (theoric)
Post by: xnonix on July 09, 2007, 05:07:55 PM
Hi all,
I have been playing with wm2d and I am with a model simulating magnetic shield.
The holy grail of overunity with magnets is shielding.
Can we disscuss about materials and how gauss field is influence by them.

The simulation is easy to understand. When the magnets are in the upper half of the circle they are shielded (they don't act).

Here is a screenshot and the model.

Regards,
xnonix

The holy grail of overunity with magnets is shielding.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but you will not get overunity by shielding.
Millions of people have tried this over and over for millions of times but it is simply not possible.
Shielding does not stop the flux, it merely deflects it to take another route and this takes power,
and any magnet passing through the shield will also cause eddy currents and cause power loss.

I'd say that the holy grail of overunity is a proper design to exploit the energy of magnets.

I know,
thats why I put theoric...
I want to disscuss about materials to redirect or imbalance the flux (we can't make it dissappear).

Something like pcockriel floating ball.

Anything ferromagnetic.
