EDIT: Created this thread for "idle chit chat" that has not place at the bench. ;D
Thinking about shock waves and ran across this patent using an interesting method of pulse generation and shaping (see attached):
then found this:

Some ideas on this:
1. what about a longitudinal form of the NLTL ?
2. might RE be created with NLTL's or standard delay lines?
3. this same delay and recombination of pulses (see the patent) can be used at slower frequencies to shape the pulse
4. what if the NLTL is formed into a loop?
OK, I'll jump in. ;D
While looking at Jason's triplen current schematics, I was reminded of the old Rotoverter system. Could the TPU somehow be using the same operating principle as the rotoverter; i.e. anomalous power generation in resonant rotating three-phase systems?
I'm going over some of the rotoverter documentation to see if I can turn anything else up...

The requirement of an "orientation" to the ring appears to imply that the source is not from the ring itself - more like an electron trap that pulls in particles - both have rotating and static fields.
DAvis and Rawls explored magnetic fields and their effects on linving systems. On page 28 of their book "The Magnetic Effect" they state that the opposite poles of a magnet have opposite spin with North being CCW and south being CW and that there is a frequency to magnets but they do not state what this frequency is. Perhaps it is the infamous 175 KHZ-ish frequency that has been mentioned in other works.
So, the northern hemisphere of Earth would have a verticle magnetic field component with CCW spin and opposite in the southern hemisphere.
There are three magnetic field components on earth - more on that - got to go dig it up.

EDIT 2:
Lamor Frequency is about 3.5 Hz per nT, so 50000 nT would result in a Lamor freq of about 175 Khz - varies by location on earth and other influences. Lamor Freq is the frequency of precession.
Precession:
Torque-induced precession (gyroscopic precession) is the phenomenon in which the axis of a spinning object (e.g. a part of a gyroscope) "wobbles" when a torque is applied to it. The phenomenon is commonly seen in a spinning toy top, but all rotating objects can undergo precession. If the speed of the rotation and the magnitude of the torque are constant the axis will describe a cone, its movement at any instant being at right angles to the direction of the torque.
Larmor:This is the signal developed that has a frequency proportional to the absolute value of the field at the sensor. The constant of proportionality is 3.498572 Hz/nT. The amplitude of this signal ismeasured only to determine if there is a valid Larmor signal being counted. The frequencyranges from about 70 to 350 Khz over the range of 20K to 90K nT. Sir Joseph Larmor was anIrish physicist (1857-1942, knighted 1909 for his work in mathematics) who first explained thesplitting of spectral lines in a magnetic field.
