Have a look at this cell with the 2coils and the 2 diodes.

The diodes put the High Voltage BackEMF from the coils across the
cell so it gets a high current pulse, which generates more hydrogen:

He does not show the coils... Can the two coils be bifilar wound, I wonder?

Naudin used bifilar setup for the TEP experiments, almost similar setup:
