Post by: RunningBare on September 13, 2007, 08:59:42 AM
Just received this in my email...

Dear Valued Key Customer,

Our utmost concern is the security of our Internet banking users. In
this effect,
we do proper verification on all transactions done on our secured

secured servers and as a matter of
our improved Internet banking security measures, We have decided to
temporarily suspend your online banking access.

You will not be able to access your Internet banking account unless
you re-activate your Internet banking access but in order to do so,
you will have to confirm your details by Logging on to your account to
complete the verification process set out for
you before we can retrieve your online access.

Please, Log on through our secure link:
https://nationwide.co.uk/util/signon?LOB=CONS

We are indeed sorry for any inconveniencies this might have caused
you, but also remember that as a
Wells fargo customer, your security remains our greatest priority.

That's a very outright and transparent phishing attempt.

I get a load of those a day, they go directly to the trash bin, but they never stop coming. llways think thrice before clicking into a link that comes trough e.mail

More impotantly remember your real bank will never send you an email asking you to login or give you direct link to it!!

Always and i mean always even if you think an email is legit type in the address of your bank dont trust any links from anywhere!!

This happened to one of the guys my sister works with. Please forward this warning to all the men you know.

BE WARNED!

I don't know if you guys shop at Costco but this may be useful to know. A `heads up' for you and any friends you have who may be regular Costco customers.

Over the last month I have become a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get the family's groceries has turned out to be quite traumatic.
Don't be naive enough to think it could not happen to you. Here's how the scam works:

Two seriously good-looking 18-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping in the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy t-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to another Costco. You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start having  :P with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs oral  :P on you, while the other one steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen AUGUST 4th, 9th, twice on the 15th and again just yesterday and very likely this upcoming weekend.

What costco is this at? ;) :)

Too bad they will find out that I don't usually carry my wallet, until it's too late :P

It must have been a super head job if you are going back again. Is it worth a trip from Australia?  If yes I just might book it:-)
