Title: The IST simple Cap charger / RE convertor
Post by: innovation_station on September 28, 2007, 09:19:51 AM
a wile ago i built a coil that can do this and it is not a tpu

i put 5v dc in at the right freq and on the kick back 1000v  blew my fuse in my meter it was 750vac @.8amp

but there majour problems with it rf noise = a bad thing
it was powered by pluses when the correct freqency was found it would interact with my computer speekers making them click and stuff at that time  i could mesure big peeks of power on my meter

altho i did post this in the LOTR thred some time ago i deleted it but reposted some of it i will find the link and post it here  i might just fire this coil up agin and make a video of it  this was1 of my first 5 coils i built

when i first built this coil i could not take any power from it i tryed to light a bulb but had no luck so .....  i left it there after a while  but later on in my work on the tpu i discovered how to harness that power  ;) and it was verry easy i have  not since played with that coil but i know i can collect this power now so i think i will throw somthing togather out of it that will give back more than used to operate

it should be verry easy to do

@Is

That coil looks good, I am glad you have re-posted, please update as soon as possible with complete details. If this coil can be reproduced getting the voltage out as you say should not be a problem, it might be possible to self-run and make a TPU like device or better.

If you still have the coil can you examine it and give the specs: dimensions, windings, wire type, windings and length, so other can try...

in this next link you see how i collect the re  now put the above coil with this setup - the magnets replace the spark gap with a switch a fet or a relay or a tube or what ever you want so now i should be able to collect the 1000v kickback or keep the freq off a wee bit more so the kickback is not as much when i did the original coil test it was plused by hand

@Is

Bit puzzled that coil looks completely different to the first?

in the second picture i show how to collect the re  in the first picture i show how to make 5 v turn into 1000v when power is taken away

use the first coil or somthing like it  then use the way i used in the second picture to collect it

get it

lol!!

 ;D I understand

ok to start with i used a microwave transformer removed the primary winding that is what you see as my base coil i would assume that it is a crystliline epoxy and tape on that core  then i wound cat 5 eathernet cable around it and a steel mig welding wire flux core  and hooked it all up but later on i found i could use mag wire insted of cat5 and welding wire  and get the same effect  ;)

so how it works? i dont know  will it work? yes i would think so

i am digging this out of the box gonna play with it  ;D

see what happins

well yes i have been busy i also assembled this guy and got it working ;D

well it is simple but i think it must be sheilded

it has out put far more than input but i think is is almost useless right now

is has to do somthing after this to take advantage of the power conversin

in ordor to achive  more power from this unit it charges caps super quick from a few pluses

i dont know how low the input can be taken to achive this effect right now i was useing 12dc 1250ma

and in 2 pluses i filled a microwave cap to over 250vdc so hummm   a resistor and hummmmm

maybe em circuit eh  lol   but still rf noise amoung heat and other problems but this is re my friends

since it charges a cap i would guess it will charge batteryies too but im not sure i have not tryed to do so yet

just thought i would share

so i just got my little toy ringing in resosnance  ;D ;D

kinda sounds like my AudioHenge lol

maybe headerodying with 1 freq what??   lol

ist

hey i had great out put befor i can just imagine it now lol

have not scoped it or taken power from it but im sure it will be  a verry nice site  ;D

oh yea i had it running 2 hours plused with 12dc 1250 ma and no heat  ;D

jeeze it just keeps getting better no rf interaction with my speekers what the hell is going on here lol

if it dont get better than this

i have no caps or diodes or anything other than my light puter hooked up to this thing

and i turned off my light puter 10 min ago and it is still vibrateing  strange

this could be the lite puter causeing this but im not sure i only turned off the power switch  did not un hook it from the unit

so as i said

i turn the power off it vibrates for a loooooong time

so i droped a tuned coil on top of it and hook up the meter after power has been off 15 min and what do i see

.6 v ac on my meter  ;D

also i might note that when i bring a magnet to diffrent places on the coil and it vibrates alone  ;D

can i get an investor    amen?

isteam!!

so with a few mods it apears to be self sustaning and gaining in speed as well as produceing massive spikes my scope is on its lowest setting the spikes are off the scope lol

agin i turned the power off 30 min ago lol

befor i made it self sustaning with the spikes  i had 7.5 volts ac on my meter  at the most that i saw

think as you all will

i have worked long and damm hard to get to where im at  i have shared all and even told you guys where to look for the answers  ;)

so i see no reason anyone should look down on me cuz i would like to make a few bucks from it

and when you all finally discover what it is i have actually built it will blow you away

here is a simple short vid of my pluse of my unit  afer power has been turned off for 45 min still running strong  ;D

and oh yea the most important part no heat  ;D

absoultly 0 heat

 :(

so today i discover that my unit is in fact not selfsustaining

:(

i see that when my lite puter is turned off there is still 4.5 v dc comming through for some reason

i thought i had only an earth ground but in fact i was wrong

however i am going to add some caps and see what that will do for me

this is a minor setback that i will overcome

the out put from the unit still far exceeds the input but it is not selfsustaining yet

anyone got ideas

it should be as easy as taking from out put cap through a resistitor to an input cap and only use the dc source to start the operation

this is where i will walk today

however there is another problem with my coil
the problem is it was not tuned when i built it

so maybe i wind a new coil tuned properly   but first i will try the caps and see if i can achive selfsustaining mode with no external wires hooked up to this

it will still require a charge to start operation  and im guessing but a high voltage charge that way it will fill the caps to allow self sustaining mode instantly

we will see
