Title: Energy or just Toys
Post by: AB Hammer on October 10, 2007, 12:25:27 PM
What type of wheels or devises, (if they work) do you think would be good for energy or just a toy of interest.

I suggest you build a Wardenclyffe tower. If you pull it off, alot of people would be interested, and it would make a good toy.

Well someone has already done it, video on youtube under Tesla.

So I will clarify myself. What kind of gravity wheels, and magnet motors/wheels, will make a good energy devise or just a toy of interest?

The first steam turbine was just a toy.....and probably every invention was some inventors toy, something to amuse them and to tinker with.

Another way to put it is. Will it have mechanical practicability and enough power for today? You take a ball wheel, if one gets one to work, it would have to be the size of a fairest wheel for a home generator (no torque), not to mention the cost. So it would be a toy. An energy producer of 3 to 6 ft that would run a home generator, wouldn't cost near as bad and would be cost effective. I list these wheels in 4 categories, if they can be done.

1. Is toy a wheel that moves but has little to no modern value.
2. Is a wheel that has value but might have to be to big for home use.
3. Is a wheel that has value to home or industry.
4. Is a totally new concept that may exceed the imagination.

This is just something to keep in mind.

how about a  gravity wheel of about 800mm-1200mm diameter (bicycle wheel sizes).....maybe 6 of these on a common shaft to turn a alternator or similar.?
The target for a home supply must be @ 5Kw continuous....

I'll make a 2.5 class LOL. I think you are wondering if enough wheels together will work. If you have a minimum power to start. But how many wheels will it take and then you have more parts to break down. 1 of your stack starts to shake/vibrate more than the rest and then the rest start to shake apart ect. each vibration will effect all in the stack. But lets look a little more as if they are designed to stack to create an effect that will push up the power by there unity in design as to compliment each other.
