G'day all,
I have just received an E-mail informing me that a new group is being formed. Below is the group name and a description what the group is about. According to the originators they are publishing plans for the construction of a free energy device free of charge to group members. The picture attached is from the group site, it does not give much away :-)

savage-z ? Savage-Z free-energy perpetual motor
Description
Welcome to the Savage-Z perpetual free-energy motor.
You will find the file savage-z.zip wich contains an html page. This file have been officialy released from Montreal on october the 18th of 2007, it gives all the informations you need to build a free-energy device with no risk to fail and to understand how it works. In return you must spread the news and the use of the device all around the world.
Membership may take one week before approval.

ok if this is for real sign us up then
definatly not holding my breath. in that picture i see a motor, zero inner workings or clues to what they might bee.
Let's see what they will put up.
Perhaps there is a Santa Klaus after all :-)

first report I've seen:
"To those that may have been interested, you could go look, but you will find it
to be another perendev type idea. I say idea, as there are not any pictures of
the working model, only some paint-shop drawings of the concept. Lots of
assurances that it is scientifically sound and obvious to a scientific mind. Oh
well...."
Yes Tak,
I have seen that report too, but without seeing the actual drawing it is difficult to say whether they have something or if it is just another regurgitation of an old idea.
I shall just have to wait until my membership comes through and I can look at their files.
Hans von Lieven
Please let us all know what you find out Hans.
Sure will Ken :-)
Hans
Hans:
Thanks. I just signed up with their group. This should be interesting.
Bill
Maybe the are spreading some sort of a new trojan virus through that zip file...I'd hate to turn my computer into another zombie bot for ddos.
@ Amigo:
I like the way you think. Good advice for utilizing caution here. Always pays to be cautious.
Bill
Unlikely amigo,
Anything that goes through Yahoo groups is virus checked before uploading.

Hey hans, Normal people add a link to their topic, what was you thinking?

savage-z : Savage-Z free-energy perpetual motor
Had the brain off again?
LOL, I'm so funny!!
Get it Hans? Brain off, Brain on??
Later you can paint the fence ok?
Sorry Gaby,
I didn't think it necessary, everything of value is right there in my post.
Other people had no trouble finding it.
Perhaps I have over estimated the intelligence of my audience.

Well Tak,
Looks like this report was right. It is a variation of the Perendev idea and on first inspection looks like a whole heap of other ideas in the same vein. But, make up your own mind.
Here it is:
Hans von Lieven
hmmm no actual pictures or even replicas of this? not even a short video of an actual working model? i don't feel good about this. :(
i will save the file attachment, you never know :-\

I subscribed to their group, and then unsubscribed. My ATT software went nuts saying this was a site known for malware and fishing scams. I am not saying that it actually is because I don't know, but this ATT software has never alerted me like this before...ever. After seeing what they have thus far, I didn't think it was worth the chance. Again, I am not accusing them of anything.
Bill
G'day Bill,
I don't understand this at all. This is a Yahoo site. All you can do there is post messages and files, all uploaded material is checked for viruses before being accepted.
This has got me confused
Hans von Lieven
Just because it's on Yahoo does not mean it's content is absolutely safe, there's no such guarantee anywhere imho. New virii are created every day and signatures for them might nor be incorporated right away or discovered for days and week ahead.
Just my 2c... :)

I love it when you look up to "us" like that. :D
Reading the messages I understand the htm file in the zip is constantly updated.
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/savage-z/messages
you all miss the yahoo cookie? It stays fresh for about 2 weeks, it's hardly something worth to think about not having? Also makes me think you don't have a good form filling application? The Opera browser does this just great, other browsers should get the roboform plug-in.
http://opera.com
http://roboform.com
Then can fill out forms and log into websites in a single click. Saves a heap of time.
@Hans:
I don't either. I have my own anti everything software that I run and it works well, so far. (Firewalls, antivirus...etc.) Because the Yahoo group message came to my Bellsouth to say I was approved, then their software on the mail server took over. I was warned that first, the site I was going to to complete my sign-up was not the same as the site listed in the hyperlink...which I already knew. Second, it said this site was the source of many fishing scams and malware infections, as reported back to Bellsouth. Third, it said that their certificate did not match the supplied information. (security certificate) I attempted to override Bellsouth three times but then my screen lit up with all sorts of warnings.
Again, I am not accusing these people of anything. I just saw what the drawing showed and figured it was not worth bypassing all of the warnings in case it was correct. I have a lot of sensitive material on my computer related to my business and just didn't want to take the risk. Oh, also Microsoft I.E. issued a certiciate warning when I originally attempted to access the site to complete registration.
If no one else has had this experience, I would just chalk it up to hypersensitive software settings that are beyond my control. If this is just my experience I would just ignore it.
By the way, I am a moderator on a Yahoo Groups PI group for our statewide organization and, there are a few things one could do if one wanted to be nasty.
Has anyone else signed up for this group?
Bill
Hi Bill,
A few days ago I also signed up and became a member there.
Both at my workplace and at my home I am behind firewall and virus checking softwares but I did not get any warning when entering the Savage-Z site either at home or at work.
rgds, Gyula
I don't blame you Bill,
I cannot afford to lose my data either, or having to rebuild my entire system from back-ups.
I did not do what you did, so I cannot even guess at what happened there. When I heard about this new group I went straight to yahoo looking for it. I did not get any warning bells.
Hans von Lieven
Hi All,
For those still interested in the Savage-Z motor here is the latest update of the description Cedric uploaded last week at his yahoo mail group. One or two members over there are in the process of a replication attempt.
Gyula
I would like to warn people that the ZIP file contains a file with a PRG extension. This is an EXECUTABLE FILE ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THIS FILE COULD DO TO YOUR COMPUTER.

Hi Earl and All,
I cannot find any PRG executable files in the zip file I uploaded.
There is one file (SAVAGE-Z.PRJ) which is 1300 Bytes and includes pure text info for the html file. It is NOT an executable file, here is its full context what you can see with a simple text editor:
bgcol=orange textcol=black center heading=2 Savage-Z perpetual free-energy motor headingend=2 image=motor.gif centerend line text=savagez1 center image=angle.gif centerend text=savagez2 center image=field.gif centerend text=savagez3 center image=screen.gif image=perende7.gif centerend text=savagez4 center image=perende1.gif centerend text=savagez5 center image=perende2.gif centerend text=savagez6 center image=phase.gif centerend text=savagez7 center image=modif1.gif centerend text=savagez8 center image=modif2.gif centerend text=savagez9 line text=savagz10 center image=savage-z.gif image=savz2.gif centerend text=savagz11 center image=modif4.gif centerend text=savagz12 center image=savz2s1r.gif image=srs.gif centerend text=savagz14 center image=enhenced.gif centerend text=savagz15 center image=shield.gif centerend line text=savagz16 center image=magpower.gif centerend text=savagz17 center image=test.gif centerend text=savagz18 text=savagz19 center image=p003.gif centerend text=savagz20 center image=magscrn.gif centerend text=savagz21 fontcol=green text=savagz22
All the other files in the zip file are with GIF and TXT extensions and there is one html file.
I have NOT experienced any malfunction, nothing bad at all, when I opened the zip file, either at home or at the office (two different computers with different virus checks and firewall programs).
Respectfully
Gyula

no
it is a texte file
@All
OK, it looks like a false alarm. I had never seen a PRJ extension and an Internet search revealed that it might be an executable.
I was not about to look at any HTML files, which could contain a call to this file.
Better safe than sorry.
Sorry for the excitement.
Earl
Don't apologise Earl,
You did the right thing, even if only to remind us how vulnerable we all are to unscrupulous operators. Better a false alarm than having your computer corrupted. Thank you.

Hi Stanis, you are the first brave man in opening the zip file, after my explanation what it contains, thank you :D
Your PDF file (made from the zip) nicely opens for me, thanks for uploading it.
Hi Earl, ok, no problem, thanks for your private mail too.

I almost got all excited and hooked into this magnet motor when I saw the image on the left, (while reading the SAVAGE-ZHTML.pdf file posted earlier in this thread.)
(https://overunityarchives.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.overunity.com%2Findex.php%3Faction%3Ddlattach%3Btopic%3D7.0%3Battach%3D15458%3Bimage&hash=0cd0e23dc91cc9462897b4fce041354859126dae)
I almost finished reading the whole damned thing before I asked myself why I was even considering another magnet motor, right Gabby?
So, I went back to have another look at the hook. Then I asked myself, "self, why would the center of the north, 'ball,' just sit there and take crap from that screen placed along side the magnet?" (Like why was I sitting there taking crap from this author? We know we are shit slinging apes en masse, for crying out loud. Why does the author feel the need to throw so much poo at..., oh, never mind.)
If we are to think of the north pole of a magnet as a, "ball under high pressure," then why should it flatten out so much on one side when in contact with a screen, and what keeps the center of the ball fixed to the geometric center of the end of the magnet?
Thus, if the centers of the high pressure balls shift slightly, (pardon me...,) then we have balance.
I could be wrong here, or stupid, whatever the author wishes to call me. How are those replications coming along?
