Title: At least I tried this
Post by: raburgeson on July 05, 2005, 08:31:14 PM
As pulsating DC has more lift I tried using a stock V8 ignition coil (out put about 35000 volts) and tried
swinging the entire potential with 100 volt square wave DC pulses. This did not increase the lift so I am
reporting the results so noone else will waste time on it.Did not make 10 grains difference.

What circuit are you using for your coils?

I could have swore I had a battery powered on that powered two coils with a 555 timer and got 60kv output but I can't find it!

Sorry it took so long to answer , I was pluged in to ac using the typical light dimmer, 555 curcuit that you can find anywhere on the net.
