Whats that: User 'hartiberlin1' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 100000)
I always get this error here?! very often, but not always?!
yes I experience the same.

Same for me! It has taken me nearly 45 minutes to log in !
Does anybody know for sure what the "exceeded max questions" actually means?
Please tell me this is just a glitch and not the continuation of the 'pyramid attack' ???
I also notice the 'users on-line' number is very low. Does this mean everybody else is having the same trouble?
3rd try at this post >:(
same problem here, this has only been coming up since Stefan switched servers.

Well finally a friend has written me a script,
so I can now log exactly, who is doing the most
traffic and it turned out, that the Google Spider
did the most traffic.
I have now set it to crawl my
site slower and not use up too many resources,
so I hope this database limitation access error will
not come back too fast.
Regards, Stefan.
Okay, I have already got one guy,
who used an automatic script to generate
traffic on my site.
He is blocked now.
So please don?t use automatic tools to grab all
the contens over here.
This forum is here for you just to read and post and
not use up all the bandwidth with automatic tools.
Many thanks for your cooperation.
Regards, Stefan.
Stefan,
You are assuming a regular member is screwing up the server I think there are other people.
May be you need a better script to distinguish between a human and an automated system
accessing the site.
The script is quite powerful and
I can see, if it is an automatic tool or
a user surfing the forum.
@ Stefan:
I am glad you are addressing this as I too have had many problems here in about the last three weeks or so. I think this is why people are getting double posts. I type a reply then hit post and nothing happens for a minute and then I get the error message about exceeded bandwith. So, I hit my browser back button and try again, and sometimes, poof double post. Sometimes I also receive an error "Cannot find overunity.com, check the address and try again." I was just moving between topics and was not typing in any address. This is such a great site and I understand that problems will happen from time to time. Thank you for addressing them. Keep up the great work.
