Title: Steven Mark - Will you visit us for a Lunch N Learn session?
Post by: mnmurphy on January 02, 2008, 01:45:44 AM
Steven,

I am an EE at Bechtel and also have put together a training program during lunch sessions for our EE's.  Would you be willing to show off your invention at a Lunch N Learn the next time you are in Washington?  I know this sounds odd, but I think it would be cool.  Unfortunately, we are government funded so Bechtel can not pay for it (nor the project).  However, I can work with some locals here in town to provide you with a great place to stay, free lunch, etc.

Thank you very much,

Michelle Murphy

Your probably right, but I guess you won't know for sure if you don't ask.

Mmmmm.. Free lunch? I am Steve Marks!

Ah wait a minute, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Is this like the lotteries in which some criminals won speed boats?

Hi Michelle,  welcome to the forum.

I believe Steven checked this forum infrequently sometimes in 2006,  but he was suffering from ailments (cancer I believe)   I'm not even sure if he is still alive, who knows.    You might want to send a private message to Lindsay Mannix, since he is the only one that had contact with him by email.  Who knows, he might reply if he's capable (Steven that is) and might take you up on the offer.  I'll come over for lunch too if you invite me  ;)

Are you in Washington State?  I visited the Hanford Nuclear plants a while ago during my schooling days (EE).  What has become of those pesky problems with the old radioactive cysterns in the ground?   I remember that was talked about quite alot at the time.

If that is the case, he really doesn't have anything to worry about by coming out w/ the info.

o well ..  maybe some other genius here will eventually figure out the secret and publish it before he/she is also silenced.

o and btw, Bechtel is mentioned in the disclosure project as being part of the "military industrial complex". With it being the largest engineering company is USA, i would think it has some of the smartest people in its payroll.

yeah well half the engineers work for this "Millitary Industrial Complex"  they have lots of money to spend  :)

If another .com era develops maybe more of us will switch over and ask for lots of stock options again   LOL  :)

but a recession is looming again    :(
