Question:
Can this be put to good use?
Option 1: Use high voltage low amps
Option 2: Use it to turn generator
Here is my attempt to understand the Newman motor. I was up at 3am and couldn't figure out how to make a commutator so I decided to use an alternating current. I'm don't know much about electricity at all. Just wondering if this has been tried before and if this idea can be put to good use.

Nice to know that works.
I think the back emf from the motor will be hard to harvest like this.
But if you would add extra pickup coils who knows what will happen.
Does it have a lot of torque?
No it doesn't have a lot of torque but then that might be because the size of the setup. The neos are only 1/4X1/4 inch neos. I've ordered larger neos so we'ell see what happens. I also planed on placing multiple pickup coils around to see how much voltage could be regained. I'll post when I get any results.
I don't know much about electronics. I was curious what size of propeller a Newman windmill should have. 1 rectifier could be the whole circuit but it would probably be more efficient to discharge a cap into the battery?
In slow wind one can pulse it up to speed and run it far overunity.

Lets talk about that Newman stuffs. :)
