I have been going through a lot of old patents and found this from 1871. It reminded me a a TPU.

do you have any idea how many people already posted that patent?
you are not going to find the tpu by searching patents.

if you ask me that thing is far from being a tpu and i have build one without sucess.

I am not saying this is not a good device, but am more convinced this was used with another device or as part of a more complete power generating system.

There was even one guy that I discussed with in the PM's and he had one that was 5 feet or so long. Major windings. Have not heard from him since a few months.
