Title: Earth Batterys Experiment
Post by: crash_uni8 on February 04, 2008, 10:26:46 PM
ive put together a little earth battery it puts out about 1volt dc,(not to sure about the amps) i thought that maybe it would be enough power to run a simple dc motor
like this one on youtube.

(im sure the amps are very small but i don't get any reading from a AA battery so i figure it might be enough)
my setup is right, but it doesn't work....is there not enough amps or voltage or will this just not work with this type of energy source?

now that i think about it these motors need pure  dc.....so maybe i was doomed from the start....idk

There is a bunch of folks that have been having fun with earth batteries since last fall. If you would like to join us you are welcome to. The thread is long but we have covered a lot of ground  ;D . It is always a good idea to do the experiments yourself. There are folks just starting their own experiments there too.  Also, there have been lots of patents and youtube vids and pics shared. lots of info. check it out.
