Title: I thaught of a good idea for a motor!
Post by: then00b on February 06, 2008, 03:03:11 PM
Has anyone ever thaught of this? Instead of using an electric magnet to pulse the magnet that is spinning around the circle there could be a belt comming off of the center cylinder that moves a pully system to motion a magnet back and forth and push the magnet back around the circle. This would be just like someone using there hand to move the magnet except without the hand. The pully system would have to be measured so the magnet is in the right place at the right time. With this done as long as the main part can turn the pully system it should be able to power its self and maby an alternator could be on top of the main cylinder creating %100 free energy! So what do you think?

This sounds like a very complicated and extremely inefficient idea.
Don't forget that all movement except coasting along magnets require energy.
This belt of yours will consume a lot more energy than a correctly timed electromagnet.
And don't forget that the attraction between the rotor magnets and the belt magnets will
require many hundreds kilos of brute force to break. This is more like 0% free energy.
