Title: Desert OTEC
Post by: barematt on February 28, 2008, 10:22:51 PM
Familiar with Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion?  Why not use the difference between the dry bulb temperature and the wet bulb temperature of warm, dry air to operate a similar system?  A 40 deg. F temperature difference can be achieved with 10% R.H.  and 100 deg. F ambient air.  In theory it works, anyone heard of such a thing?  Thanks.

Matt

i,HI, i am reasercher on this tech....limitless power is available.

the secret for make this happen is use tree tech togheder.

the first take cold deep water....
(don't use the ORC cicle of otec)
the second is the sistem used in Toronto , deep water cooling sistem.
and the tird is a Convetion flow....

I like the idea of using the difference between the water temperature and air temperature in the Artic to build some kind of OTEC system.

The water can be more than 40 degrees Celsius warmer than the air there...

OTEC means two sistem,
one that fish deep water, and this is good
the ORC is a limit....
i trust that using THE link you can see HOW is powerfull this SYSTEM
