Title: THE " MPG HALL OF FAME"
Post by: vdubdipr on April 06, 2008, 12:36:23 PM
I was wondering what poeple are getting out of there on demand units... i made my wfc and built and o2 sensor voltage adder. one guy on youtube said he got 51 mpg right away and is now getting 80mpg... and i have the same car! ( a 91 ford escort) so lets hear some results people...

1. what you got.... car /engine...
2. a ruff liter per min estimate
3. electonics / o2 sensor adjusters/ map/maf sensors
4. before and after mpg....and
maybe a video

OR WHO DO YOU KNOW?

91 ford F150 4x4
before = 15 mpg average (usually lower)
after= 25 mpg plus (testing still in progress)
9vdc battery powered efie set at @ 175 mvdc
MAP sensor bias circuit set at @ 4vdc
Have no idea the lpm and don't care.  I base my production on the capacity of my truck to supply it without overloading the alternator and going into thermal overload.  My base centerline is < 18 amps.  Pull too much and I rob HP from the engine and nullify real gains I may achieve with my Ho-Gen.  I'm currently running 10 amps through a pwm and it seems to be a good workable centerline.  I'll worry about cell efficiency later, right now it's all about increasing my mpg's by "just doing something".  I get lots of bubbles... ;D
