OK.  I want the TPU to be real.  Sometimes the best way to progress an agenda is to vigorously attack it.  It's the "red team" kind of approach.  In that spirit, I embark upon the following project.

It has been stated that no battery technology available at the (supposed) time of the SM videos was capable of demonstrating the observed power.

Well, I did a few calculations, and here's what I found (perhaps this is naive;  let me know).

A decent 9V alkaline battery will yield at least 300mAh of energy.
Let's take (13) 9V batteries and wire them in series.  This should give us:

13 * 300mAh = 3.9 Amp-Hours of energy at
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
My hasty calculation was totally wack.  The total amp-hours will stay the same, at 300mAh.

13 * 9V  = 117 Volts.

So, the question is, can we replicate the demonstration using a "coil" made out of the innards of 9V batteries?

Theoretically, we should be able to produce about 1 Amp stable for about 20 minutes.  Overheating would be a problem.

A 9V battery is actually made of 6 AAAA batteries in series.  Break one apart if you don't believe me.

Make a video!  Follow the script of one of the famous SM vids.  Then peel off the electrical tape and show the AAAA cells.

--I REALLY want the TPU to be real, but let's red-team it properly.

This stripped-down 9V battery weighs 36.5 grams.

zero-tensor, 13 batteries will only deliver 300mAh at 117 V, not 3.9 Ah. At 3.9 Ah it would be 9V.

This very scenario has already been played out here - a well-respected member did this (video, showing electric light bulbs running) and revealed the day after it was a fake, ripping off the insulating tape to show a ring of 9v batteries.  Sorry, can't remember his name...

It was EMDevices. He could run it only for a few seconds. Try to run it for half an hour.

Yes, but that was my (unstated) point - it has already been tried and disproven, namely you could not use conventional batteries to mimic the power output seen in the videos.

Absolutely right.  I am all red in the face.  Of course they will deliver only 300mAh.  I was confusing the energy stored in the battery with the amp-hour rating, which is of course wrong.  All I can say is that my brain must have blown a tube.

Still, 300mAh should give an amp for 18 minutes.  The voltage will drop really fast, though, so this is probably not going to work for very long at all.

EMDevices beat me to it, eh? I walk in the shadow of giants...

long sleves and a battery helmet replication is achived with a stiff neck and sigh of releif as a side effect!

The other possibility I contemplated was using a backpack with slits cut in the shirt on the back so the backpack could be on the outside of the shit and be easily detached and reattached at appropriate comera angles...

Many times the head is not shown and there is not many side or back views and before there is a back view the camera guy seems to walk awfully close to where he is out of the picture or the camera is put on the object...

A backpack with a battery in it could easily replicate these videos just proper camera placement and timing would be of the order ;)

Or what about pausing the tape and then picking up the recording a lot could be done with this the timestamping could always be edited in later....

The vids seem to all be poor qaulity anyhow.... Thats why I was hoping for Jack Durban to be useful .... Help debunk common camera trickery...

The sad answer to your question is YES...
We can build something thats looks exacty the same and power the same loads as Steven did for a short period of time.
Cells in paralell for more current and stepping up can do the trick.
We can also add the fact that Steven had build in some "problems" to get to more money like the magnet and the up side down thing.
Althoug Steven said he wasn't in for the money Jack said that he was trying to get as much investors as possible.....and he never deliverd the final product.

So all in all it's a shared feeling thing.
One one side we hope it's for real, but on the other side we are aware it can all be a fraud.

If we read all he said about the device it is hard to believe that it isn't for real...
So he can be the master of magnetics or he can be the master of big jokes.

Only one way to find out...and we all know what way that is.

Yes the tricks to disable and enable the power of this unit are rather sketchy unprofessional things to do...

But are they really fraudsters for doing this simple little deed?

Things to keep in mind:

History clearly shows inventors feel the need to secure there inventions by means of misdirection....

Microangelo was the first real good example of this.

It is said that Tesla also has did this while I find a bit more speculation with Teslas patents then Microangelos work...

Anyhow yes the possibility of undetected fraud is just as possible that device is a true.

Point made video already recreated to an extnent very nicely thought out though.
