Title: any help on how could i develop this idea?
Post by: raaaid on August 27, 2005, 09:53:38 AM
basically on the right side you have one meter depth water and on the left side one meter of air contact dry and both sides comunicated through a two doors excluse in the bottom

a series of very well floating balls is made go through the excluse to first go up by buoyancy and second go down with gravity and then again through the excluse to repeat the process

Any help of what materials could i use to test this idea?

The problem is to get the balls into the water at the 1 meter depth.
This needs as much energy as you gain in the buoyancy ! So with all
the other frictional losses it will not work...

but remember the left side is dry they drop 1 meter by gravity, you have one side with water and the other side air

the key is in keeping the two doors excluse the most dry than posible

now i realize it would fail because the water entering through the excluse would have to be sent all the way up
