Title: hydrogen/oxygen separator?
Post by: Mark69 on May 02, 2008, 07:14:32 PM
Hello all,

I am new to the free energy site and I have been watching and reading a lot about the HHO generators and such.  The main thing with a real big producing cell in a car is the problem with the O2 sensors recalibrating for the added O.  Instead of using a device that leans the mixture (and possibly damaging your engine) what about some type of membrane that will block the oxygen but allow the hydrogen to pass through?  If someone already has this worked out, please let me know what you are using and how you have it set up.  I think this might be a better way to control the input of HHO by venting the oxygen or pumping the oxygen into the interior of the vehicle.  Heck, might help you stay awake when driving!

Thanks,
Mark

This cannot damage the engine because the computer just send more oil for absolutely nothing, so its better for the engine in my opinion.

I am working on a device for hacking the O2, and I am sure when it will be done the car will run better!

the thing is that the lil bit of extra pure oxygen is great, think of how turbos and superchargers and cold air intakes work, they add more air, and in it is more oxygen, the problem with the o2 sensor is that the air/fuel ratio is too rich in fuel when a booster is added, otherwise everyone who adds an after market turbo or tunes their psi higher would need o2 adjustment. normall air is only like around 15-20% oxygen and oxygen helps burn things better weather its hho or gasoline...see? and yes there are a couple different methods of seperating hydrogen and oxygen one of witch you mentioned.. im not sure but i think this lil 20$ hydrogen rocket has a membrain seperator.......

oh and the other way is to use tubes to seperate and collect just the hydrogen off the negative electrode. hope this helps.. peace
