Title: PWM?

I have a 12-24 volt 30 amp PWM. I want to lower the voltage to my single cell to cut down on heat production. Does this PWM drop current or just voltage? In other words, is it possible to just lower the voltage and maybe make the electrolyte stronger to stay around 20 amps? 2 volts per cell is what is needed correct? So if not the PWM, what simple circuit can I build that will drop the voltage preferably in steps as to add more cells in the future but not drop the current? Any help is greatly appreciated. ???

What are you using for the PWM unit? 

To reduce voltage, you could use a simple voltage divider (two resistors) or possibly a voltage regulator.

You could also get an attenuator off E-bay. These will make sure the PWM frequency does not get distorted. Attenuators are generally voltage dividers and have coaxial input.

I am using the PWM to adjust the input power to my cell. But as per ohms law, my current follows my voltage. I want to drop the 12-14 volts from my car battery to 2 volts going into my Hydrogen/oxygen cell. And I want to stay at 20 amps. 2 volts/20amps is my desired effect. What about an adjustable power supply that runs off battery voltage. Is there a circuit I can build. Can you elaborate and maybe break it down a bit. Thanks again

I meant what circuit is generating the pulse-width modulation?   Is this an off-the-shelf circuit?   Or something you or a friend built?  Specifically, I'm wondering about the schematics of your present setup.  Then I might be able to help a bit more.

I am not sure how my setup in my car will be. I plan on running it from the battery to a breaker or fuse to the PWM, to a relay connected to the ignition switch or fuel pump with led fault light for the dash. From there I want to run it threw an amp meter then to the cell. Obviously the neg will go from chassis ground to the other terminal on the cell. Basically the same as the smack unit and others. Input on this will be greatly appreciated as well.

Maybe you can use something like this circuit?

It is a linear adjustable voltage regulator.
The output voltage is adjustable from 1,2 Volt and up to approx. the input voltage.
The regulator can sourche up to 40 Ampere with good heatsink on the transistors.
