self illuminating water bottle invention

This has got to be a wind up?
How does this work ? Chet PS looks like a mafia hit man device
I am currently testing
I started with a 20oz bottle and cold water I will bring it in tonite and post results...
These are just bottles of water with clorox bleach correct?
You dont have to screw them in to the wall socket... Correct!
My tap water is heavy in minerals as well also important to note.
Heres hoping really we only need light for a certain portion of the day I'm curious to find weather these are reuseable or if they work at all!!!
Side note:
Mexican media seems to report awfully strange stuff so it wouldnt supprise me if this were nothing but BS ...
Anyhow enjoy ...
I hope there is not something that is being left out like a special type of cap or water level or intricate mix specs...
More to come I have the capacity to test something of this nature thanks to the outdoors! :P

Good stuff Infringer
Seems in the video they say just add a coupla drops of bleach.
Let us know if it does anything, like ya say could be BS, but we shall see!
Cheers
Sean.

Isn't this just redirecting the sunlight through the bottle? ???
Yes, it just only seems to be holes in the ceiling, so that these
bottles catch the outside sunlight and redirect them into the rooms.
So if the sun doesn?t shines, no big light in the room.
So a bit like what they are doing with Fibre Optics?

Why the need to place the bottles out in the sun though?
Well here is some visual representation...
And just to put off any speculation that bottle is on earth it is not mars soil!
HEHE :P
plug the water bottle into the wall for better performance ;) ( j/k)
Well that piped solar may not be as expensive as one thinks mirrors are silver and black paint... There are tons of satellite subscribers who have dishes at there house because they no longer subscribe to satellite I would imagine this could be home made for much cheeper ...
Anyhow I will post results when the sun starts to go down hope to have interesting results for all.
lol @ borg no doubt my sentiment exactly
Mexican media as I say is very sketchy chupacabra and other odd things on report...
While all this is going on maybe I should have colored my bottle top black with a sharpie as it does absorb heat better...
Odd thing is I wonder if city water would work off the cuff so to speak seeing as how it already contains a little chlorine.

hehe ;D
Atlast I meet someone as mad as me ;D ;D ;D ;D
Wish we had your sun here at the moment though!!!
Cheers
Sean.

Oh crapola I'm not cutting holes in my roof expirement be damned hrmm I may opt for a 3 sided card board box I would have to tear out the attic as would most and spend outrageous amounts on heating in order to accomplish this ....
Errr not my bag of chips I thought the sunlight provided the effet of glowing after it sat in the sun for a while...
Redirected sunlight would work a bit better with the dish as clanzer mentioned I will see what I can do I have a shed but currently it is in the shade no matter the time of day errrr drats and double drats they should've specified more in the clip...
Redirected light is ancient egyptian history lol I think solar windowing is more attractive personally errr wow but hey if I had a hut or something it just may be worth it.
Looking at the video the claim still does seem to claim that adding a bit of bleach to water, exposing it to sunshine will trigger a chemical re-action a bit like those Glow sticks. I know they use Bleach and Mineral water in those along with a couple of other chemicals.
So don't go drilling holes yet, just incase ;D

Oddly it did light a little bit indeed ... Was roughly the same as my flashlight...
But it is not all that practical for me!
Anyhow I have taking pictures Sorry I the camera does not display them the way I had hoped but my conclusions...
A bottle of water without bleach seems to work the same as one without!
And the only thing the bleach did was yellow up the water a little...
Keep this all in mind it is nice in pricipal but not practical for me maybe for you it may be...
