Title: Lead Acid Battery for HHO Production
Post by: wdisraeli on June 05, 2008, 07:07:55 PM
I am using a small battery with a KOH and distiled water electrolyte? Would the lead plates in the battery hinder the HHO Production? I am aware that stainess steel is the best thing to use.

That's interesting.  What is your spacing?  I say run it and see what happens.

I am unsure of the spacing.

Let me rephrase.

I am currently trying this but there is not alot of HHO being produced, and i am woundering if that has to do with the lead plates or anouther factor. I am using about a 3 tblsp of KOH to 3.5 oz of distilled water.

HHO Prduction is very new to me.

Any help would be great.

You don't need lead plates. Actually they are lead oxide. Read this paper thoroughly:

The battery will provide a casing but not much more than that.
