Title: Question about split production
Post by: 22350 on June 07, 2008, 01:58:50 PM
If you have a HHO generator that creates 3 Litres per minute, would a generator that produces gas separately make 2 litres of Hydrogen and 1 litre of Oxygen?

yes (if the oxygen is not used to react with the electrode ;) )

2H2O -> 2H2 + O2

every mol of a gass has the same volume,so 2 volumes of H2 and 1 volume of O2

What does this mean?

for example if u have carbon electrode it will react with oxygen to make carbon dioxide.Of course not all of the oxygen will react.
