does anyone know what the cost per gallon is and the REAL cost per gallon [compared to gas] Chet
I dont know what is the "Buz" with hydrogen cell as battery since you still need to pay for the hydrogen!!
Unless you produce your own hydrogen with your own HHO stuffs at home, but I guess they are some complication to fill up a tank with a lot of pression.
Go 100% electric instead! GO EV! :)

How is electric superior? You still have to pay for the electricity to charge it?
Much less then gaz/hydrogen. you are not dependent from it.
I feel anything that's NOT OIL is good for all of us. Tech moves on, you know. It finds a way.
Its true that both H2 and electricity production would need oil. Its either going to be Oil->Electricity->H2 or Hydropower->Electricity->H2
Plus points of H2 are that its source is water which is abundant and the end product is also water, no pollution and can be recycled. So even if a bit costly today its still preferable.

Well, use the sun to recharge your batteries bank during the day with a second bank at home, when you came back just charge the other bank etc.. no oil needed.
Anyway where I live the electricity is generated from water not oil so not a concern in my case.
