Hi, I'm new here and I'm not sure where I should put this. I think this is in the wrong place, so maybe a moderator can move it to the right place.
So i was tinkering around last night with a couple of magnet batteries I slapped together. A magnet battery, as you know, is just a magnet and a metal piece with a wet piece of paper in between.
I'm using neodymium magnets from http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/6YA39 (http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/6YA39), simple notebook paper, bits of punch-press metal pieces, a GTD-200A multimeter, alligator clips from Radio Shack, and water.

Here I am testing the first magnet battery which reads 0.56 DC volts:

Here I am testing the second magnet battery which reads 0.53 DC volts:

Here I have connected the magnet-side of one battery to the keeper-side of the other with an alligator clip. The combined DC voltage now reads 1.13 DC volts:

The voltage keeps climbing. After about 5 minutes it's up to 1.29 DC volts:

Anyway, I'm gonna go test some other things. Hopefully someone can use this.

try now
an resistor 1kilo ohm connected parallel to the meter
(conectind CD(in) and ground.
If you read now (exp.) 1Volt than it flowing also 1ma . that ist the power of 1 milliwatt.
IF this is working ..
try 100 ohms (as Rl) , tat is 10 milliwat (1f 1 volt output)
and so on,
vwery simple.
Voltages WITHOUT and Load Resistor is NO (readable) -POWER..

I have a new setup with the 40 neo's in parallel that runs about the same as the first vid.
I will post a video before I change it to a serial array.

Please stick around I could use your help with lighting up some LED's with the serial configuration. I have the stuff or can get it, but don't have the knowledge to build the circuit. I will post the serial version after I post the current version so please don't go into detail until you see where I am at, you will understand after you see the first video.
