Hello! I've been searching for parts for a GEET multi fuel setup on a small engine. But with no luck. Not even Wards website seems to show the right stuff. Could someone point me in a direction?
I thought we had that here if not panacea has it and i think peswiki Chet
DR did you find it?panacea university PANTONE GEET more stuff their now than ever Chet
Doc,
Have you checked out this page:
http://www.teslatech.info/ttstore/articles/geet/geet.htm
They list a pretty good workup of all you'll need.
Looks like the Yahoo geet-pantone group has been shut down.
All the best,
B
Panacea takes you by the hand and does a step by step build no charge Chet
yes i have the list but need a supplier to actually get the parts. The local hardware stores have only bits and pieces of this stuff
www.grainger mc mastercar IF I think of any more Ill post Chet
I think the hardest for me to find is the reducing tees 1"X1/2"1/2" the rest i may be able to find at local shops but i was hoping there would be an all in one store online for this type of stuff. Searching online all i could find is this http://www.globalindustrial.com/gcs/product/productInfo.web?infoParam.itemKey=30131362
But its not galvanized. What is the difference between the black and galvanized? Would i be able to substitute the black for galvanized?
Black pipe will rust you can buy galvanizing spray from LPS corp and probably many others but in my opinion this will not effect the geet short term maybe not at all Chet
I think i might have a go at this because it pretty cheap to build and i have multiple engines i could install this on. Thanks for the help ill keep in touch. More links to supplies are appreciated.
DOC what part of the world are you in? Chet
I'm in Michigan USA
Doc I can't believe you can't get galvy t's in home depot or lowes? Id like to try this also ill start collecting all parts ultimately try it on a diesel ChetPS im in NY and Conn.
yes they have some of the parts but not most. everything is scattered around at my local stores.
Doc,
Like you, I was able to find pretty much everything at Home Depot. They even cut the black pipe to size and threaded it, no charge. As I recall the T you are having trouble finding is one I had trouble finding as well (still haven't picked it up). I did call up a local plumber/supplier who was able to find the reducing T in one of his supplier catalogues. I think it was about 20.00, so I held off. It might be worth checking out somebody at a smaller, more specialized industrial supply that would have the catalogues on hand in hard copy. They may have to order it in, but that might be the way to go.

Greetings,
The info I picked up about galvanize was that it could flake off and get in the sys.
They use stainless steel in France.
Regarding the tees. I haven't seen a pic of them but you might be able to use a standard 1x1x1 and use reducing bushings.
I have made two of these and all the parts are kind of find it were you can. The reducing T is actually 1x1/2x1 reducing T. you will have to bore out the 1/2 in part so a 1/2 black pipe will slide into it. The rest of the aperatous is basic. the reactor rod will need to be about 1 foot long to start with, and cut to length per type of fuel used. You will need a compass to find the cutting point. Just run the compass along the rod after running the engine about thirty minutes, be carefull the rod will be super hot. the reactor has to be in a north south orientation when setting the rod. The exhaust exiting the south field. the exhaust coming from the north feild.
I have tried to run different fuels but it is very difficult to get it to run on let say diesel, It seems that you always have to add gasoline to get it to run. Water and gas mix only seems to burn the gas and leave the water behind. I have had better success with water and gas mix with a three foot reactor tube and rod . It will actually get ice on the bubbler , and the engine even gets cold at the engine head. when you shut this down, or shut off the intake air it will keep running thru the exhaust into bubbler back to the engine. I don't know why it does this but sometimes it does. It can run as long as thirty minute doing this. and it runs very smooth and there is no control of the engine, it just takes off. I hope this helps you in your quest to save fuel, Keep trying Gibbs
