Ok I may have found a way to make a heavy weight light, I found a way to make a weight on the left hand side of a wheel also apply its weight to the right hand side so then just a small force is needed to lift that weight...
I made a small wheel (cardboard) and it seems to work, but I'm not completely satisfied until I have made one out of wood and played with it...
I am going to reveal this find to you, even to those who like to keep secrets themselves, even from their friends...

Here we have two weights, one weighing 4 ounce and the other weighing 1 ounce.
They are attached to right angles that swing on those axles.
When weight 4 swings down the other end of the right angle pushing up which ends up pushing the other right angle down on which weight 1 is attached.
When this happens weight 4 is also putting force on the descending side of the wheel aswell as weight 1 causing weight 1 to lift weight 4...

If your real tests bear this out it would appear to show a glaring decrepancy between WM2D's modelling and reality. Even with weights of 1Kg/0.9Kg WM2D still wants to turn anticlockwise, so definitely no 4:1 weight ratio confirmation...

I assume the length of the arms and the ratio of the arms are important.
Also the position of the axles of the right angles with respect to the main shaft should also count, right?

Well what I see is that this configuration will result in an anticlockwise torque.
In this case, I dont trust WM2D, thanks for trying though :) Length is very important, I will put a new pic soon... I'm going to make this...
Edit: Here is another idea, a little more complicated.
The weight which is hanging on some string coming from a right angle which attaches to the long bar on the far side by more string.
When the weight touches the bar, it pulls up the right angle on the other side which lifts up the bar...
Here we have a self holding weight, what may it do.............

But no I won't even show even my friends until I have had the chance to compete my work first. That is not being unfair, but you do not know how much I would love to show everything . I have several thing to tell you when the time is right.
Now lets talk about this strings projects. For the first time I am not following what you are trying to do. I will need to see more before I can make any suggestions or express any opinion.

When I think about it, It looks like it can function as an extended lever in a smaller area.

I'm trying to make a weight that stays up because of its own weight...
Look at the second pic I put, the weight pulls up what it is resting on therefore causing the weight to keep itself up...
