Last time we heard from this guy he told us he had a magnetic wankel capable of 12000 watts out at 200W average input.
He also mentioned having a big demonstration soon, running a big bank of bulbs entirely powered by a self running device.
Well, some googling revealed that he has continued to develop and refine his contraption.
He's looking to increase power output according to Mr Tom Schum (he's been involved in the development).

On the picture actual device? Perhaps he spent 200W to this only coil but those rods, keeps ferrite magnets (?), as well as shaft ... Im not sure it will keep a stiff upper lip even 600W. At that maximum torque of this kind of devices ... very simpy to try by hand - will be not amazing force at all.
When built 10 times bigger ... perhaps then 1200W will be found by some way.
Seems this guy has burning shame because cheered off,

No, the setup in the above picture is not the big power motor.
You can read Stefan's info from 2006 on the input and output power relations of the above motor in the picture here: http://www.overunity.com/index.php/topic,759.msg4606.html#msg4606

At a wild guess, I reckon his European patent failed, and his backers pulled out. There
was nothing over and beyond the Yasunori Takahashi motor disclosed on Tom Bearden's
web site many years ago.
Hey, have a look at this: http://ask.tj/message/free_energy/87026
It's some fresh info on Sprains motor from Tom Schum, a former advisor.

About Sprain, I heard they are still chugging away on new
enhancements, commercialization and so on. They don't keep
me very deep in the loop anymore. I think there is still great
promise there, and my hopes remain high.
